I love the random tufts of butt fluff! She definitely looks like a hefty hamster, but I think what looks like fat rolls is probably her cheeks. If hamsters really can carry a quarter of their bodyweight in their cheeks, she must look pretty comical with them fully packed. She could about stuff a sibling in them!
It's my dream to have a giant chunky ham ham. Diet Coke is an array of colours. I believe all these hamsters are bred to be bigger than their previous generation.

My late sister was a huge fan of hamsters, she had one named YaYa that was the most sweetest little thing,she'd carry her in her pocket and run all over the house in her ball! Miss them both! You would have loved this Neeno!🥴

Nah, hamster usually doesn't care about his owner. Unlike the dog, dog or even puppy already have loyalty to his owner
@@astronull8589 yeah. My Potato is 2 and a bit years old and only cares where his next meal is coming from. I think he's just become a grumpy old man.
Hamsters aren’t smart enough for that, and they’re solitary creatures. Bunnies and Guinea pigs however, are social and intelligent animals. They definitely get attached to their owners.

Oooohhhh...she's so pretty! She reminds me of my favorite hamster as a child...she was a sable too. Her name was Lambchop because of how our dog would sit near her cage with the same look he had watching my dad eat lambchops...Lol! I used cedar shaving in her cage so she always smelled so sweet but I had to trim her butt here and there because the hair would get super long and attract the shavings. Lol!

So cute. I had a hamster who suddenly gained weight one time and when I took her to the vet I was told she had a hormonal disorder. She weighed 300 grams. She was otherwise healthy and happy but I had to stop giving her yogurt treats. She was a bit upset about that but got plenty of fresh veggies, which she loved.

Both raw and cooked veggies should be fine. I normally feed high quality hamster mix (e.g. Mr Johnsons), 10% of the hamster's weight once a day.

It's just their fur :D They're kind of long haired hamsters, but not all of their fur is long (unlike pure long haired Syrians). It's so cute!! My hamster Waffle had that too (I called it her Swiffer Sweeper butt 😂😂) 💖💞💖💞💞💓
I'm not sure why, but when I raised hamsters, I often saw even short-hairs begin to develop those long, fly-away "butt-tufts" later in life...🤔😅

Longhaired female hamsters do have this kind of "butt tufts", while male hamsters tend to get longer "skirts" :)

My syrian is a rescue with brachycephaly. He's so small at only 133g :(. He was always small, and he had to eat all soft food because his teeth are almost non-existent. He can eat some soft solid foods like every fruit or veggie that can basically be gummed, or small pieces of meat.
