I love this couple but I've found her hairstyle very distracting to the dance. It's such a stupid petty thing but I can't help it. She's too pretty to have her hair that short. That's just my personal opinion. Doesn't mean shit. Just like all comments on youtube. :)
As I see it, their unique talent is rumba and samba. I repeat: UNIQUE. Obviously, this cha cha cha is not good, Michael DOES NOT have distinct, precise timing, so extremely important to cha cha cha, and always without fail present in Riccardo and Yulia. Also, Michael´s basic technique is simply NOT GOOD. And the light FUN character of the dance is missing.
Not being an expert on technique, I can't comment on that. Always being focused on Joanna's superiority among women dancers, it took me awhile to realize Michael's brilliance. He just dances like a real man, in a very macho style. I've not seen that much in other male dancers. He has a particular strength in his moves, and danced Joanna around that floor like nobodys business.
There never has been, nor will there ever be, whilst they are alive anyone better than these two!!
