I really love Tove Lo for writing this song. I relate to it very much. The pain in her voice and the hidden desperation of the song tells a story of a girl who needs love so much that she is willing to do anything. She would place all her bets onto someone that was not meant for her. I'm the same , I express my care through touch- I would hug my friends , punch them jokingly as encouragement. But because I was neglected heavily throughout my childhood in a conservative family , I was not " loved " enough and I always have associated touching as something dirty or uncomfortable. Hell I won't even let my mom kiss me sometimes. But I craved for touch and somehow it grew into lust. Mayb bc I'm born more sexually driven possibly , but I always felt a deep yearning for touch. The fact that I was neglected and misunderstood about touching made it worse. Overtime , the pain of wanting someone to just stay here with me and comfort me with touches keeps accumulating. I became number and number. Being an INFJ too it wasn't easy for me , as I am very sensitive both mentally and physically . Ive been following Angel Haze for years now. The motivation and drive she brings. Thanks to her I now found Dorothy. These words got me in goosebumps and with tears in my eyes. Im a gay male in Va, Single and just trying to get by. I had a pretty rough past with the guys in this area. Not all but some people will take what they can and try to control you, not all but thats the realization ive been living around. Drug use is high in this area and crime, im also a survivor of an attempted human trafficking so thats prob why i stay guarded. This area isnt the best but its where my family resided Ive also spent years fighting for my finacial freedom from Itt tech which was finally forgiven. i went to study architecture and never got a degree. instead i had shot credit, low self esteem working a dead end job, and couldnt progress. With elderly parents,which my mother just overcame her radiation period. its been hard seeing them struggle from losing their home, and my older siblings are fighting their own demons. It gets lonely. I got my dues paid and now Im finally considering buying a home not just for me, but for my parents. Freedom, it has so many terms in itself. But This made me realize what ive been fighting for Im fighting for a life of my own. ❤Keep making music yall because this is impowering and beautiful and it hit me hard. Im fighting for a purpose. We all are.

I remember having the exact thoughts when I was just a teen. trying to kick my heroin addiction i discovered when I was 17 turning 18, I didn't realize i was really that bad into the dope, but I remember how mentally lost/numb I had been since my best friend passed away when I was 14 from a overdose, not being mentally aware didn't counter thought my brain once, I barely even thought back then. I just did and learned to ignore guilt and shame, that never really came because my brain was so far away. I'm 23 coming on 24, and have the health issues you would see from the elderly. Drugs ain't worth it. I was strong minded once to, but then I picked up the blade and spoon.

I really love Tove Lo for writing this song. I relate to it very much. The pain in her voice and the hidden desperation of the song tells a story of a girl who needs love so much that she is willing to do anything. She would place all her bets onto someone that was not meant for her. Fuck for life means she wants someone to love her always and fuck is saying how much she craves for physical love ( perhaps she shows her love through touch so she expects the same of her lover.) I'm the same , I express my care through touch- I would hug my friends , punch them jokingly as encouragement. But because I was neglected heavily throughout my childhood in a conservative family , I was not " loved " enough and I always have associated touching as something dirty or uncomfortable. Hell I won't even let my mom kiss me sometimes. But I craved for touch and somehow it grew into lust. Mayb bc I'm born more sexually driven possibly , but I always felt a deep yearning for touch. The fact that I was neglected and misunderstood about touching made it worse. Overtime , the pain of wanting someone to just stay here with me and comfort me with touches keeps accumulating.

Being an INFJ too it wasn't easy for me , as I am very sensitive both mentally and physically . I have to bear all the sexual arousement often ever since I hit puberty , night and day and refuse to let it out.even if I do , I would feel guilty afterwards and beat myself up. Now I'm going through depression and recovering from it. It's not that I'm a unfilial child , I just can't stand all the negativity that had been brought down on me for as long as I was a child. Someday I hope to move far away from everyone who used to be around me , find out who I am and find my faith to forgive them again. After all , forgiving is letting go and to love again.
