@@TheDonnadaniela yes, it is because firstly the rooms are not as they are described we were given an “upgrade for free” which turned out to be worse than the original room. There were ants in one of the rooms ( we had to swap). The pavements were cracked and unclean. The pool was unclean. The food was not catered for all tastes ( but did allow dietary requirements) the staff were rude . It is also posted as 4-5 star at best in my opinion you are not getting your moneys worth as it is more like 2-3 stars. The hotel manager was not listening and it took several days to get the attention of the genuine hotel manager. Staff were rude and were trying to clear us out. Food does not change. However, the booked Italian place was nice and the manager or that small restaurant on the 2nd floor was very very nice and made our trip slightly better despite the rest of it being total rubbish.
