There aren't many movies like Treasure Planet. The film still stands as an underrated Disney Classic in my heart, and I really wouldn't mind if Disney did animated movies like that again. This happy meal set brings back incredible memories for me, because I learned about the film from the promotional happy meal toys of course. One time when I went to the McDonald's ball pit I found Morph in there, and I was like "Yess!!! Two Happy Meal Toys in one day!"
WOW!!!😰 These are AMAZING! I just saw Treasure Planet for the FIRST time ever! The detail is just incredible. Even tho I STOPED buying toys after my quarter life crisis a year ago,this tempts me to dive back into that abyss of make believe where time stands forever still.
The gold sphere was the treasure map that Jim could activate. Pretty clever stuff from McDonald's. I've always been impressed at the quality of those toys. Nobody ever throws out those toys, have you noticed? Every thrift store had a bucket's worth.

the Asian release was separate part of B.E.N. and then if you collect 'em and piece them all together you get one giant B.E.N. which is pretty cool but I wish we had these figures too
I Think Treasure Planet Was Underrated For The Time It Truely Felt Like Sci Fi Indiana Jones For The Disney Family It Will Always Have A Place For Me In My Childhood

the only set i completed (here in chile on 2002 the toy were random) i mean that idea of puzzle pieces made me eat to much junk back then and treasure planet is still to this day my favorite disney movie John Silver is the only survivor after several house moves
The morph "puzzle" piece was a shovel. All these were for going on a treasure hunt. The puzzle thing isn't a planet it's a map to the planet it's just one shaped.
It's funny, because I actually played the game sequel called "Treasure Planet Battle at Procyon" before I watched the original movie. So when I finally got to watching the movie, based on what I had seen in the game, I was expecting to see some guys in the movie, like Amelia, Dr. Doppler, Morphy, John Silver, etc. I didn't know there was going to be a robot Ben in the movie. I mean, in the game, there is more than one Ben. Also, when I saw Mr. Arrow, I thought he was Mr. Onyx for a second. I also thought the map was that map scanner in the game. I thought it was the same thing. Btw, when I saw Morphy, he was really funny and adorable. It suprised me, because he only appeared like once in the game. I'm rambling on right now, but who cares? Oh and I also was expecting to see TurnBuckle as well. I did. However, I never expected that spider crab thing (aka Mr. Scroop) to be in the movie. The very first time I saw Mr. Scroop was on the cover of the demo version of the game Etherium Rescue.
I was actually just cleaning my room and I found the pieces of this I had(just the 2 end pieces :( )when these were the toys and it made me so sad that I never got to collect them all and complete the map :( its so nice to see what it looks like though. :)

Could the puzzle piece that came with Morph (water squirter) be a hair slide? It looks like the pink but could be a clip so you can wear the puzzle piece in your hair. Loving the reviews though. Only downside is that my 5 year old wants just about every set and some are hard to come by in England :(

In Europe we had a different McDonalds Treasure Planet Happy Meal, where you collected huge parts that compiled BEN if you had them all.

My friend and I collect these, I love the figures and he loves the map pieces so we always split them.
