When people romanticized this song, i learned how many people around me had never been in a toxic and/or abusive relationship.
Not a being a a abusive relationship is suppose to be a good thing right? I was in a really toxic relationship and it's not fun let people enjoy the song it's dark but it's beautiful
It’s just a good song. It’s relatable . That’s why people like it.
The nostalgia this song brings is crazy. Both good and bad memories with all kinds of emotions but the most strong emotion is one of the acceptance of uncertainty, going home after a bad day in the car with my dad as a child during the night depressed and worried about what the next day would bring, but being able to look out the window and just listen to this song as some form of stimulus and just zone out.

A great song about a toxic relationship in which both parties continue to hurt each other but can't help it because they love each other in a bad way.
This is also unique as Rihanna released another version of the song with Eminem that is from the girls point of view. Try listening to both versions back to back and you get a bigget view on the full story. There's a third version to by Skyler Grey whiich is good too but it's a cover of the first version.
This song is SO nostalgic for me. Came out in late middle school/early high school for me.
The way the words together with the visuals tell the story is the number one reason Eminem is as good as he is and has been for so long. He is/has been a natural born story teller since Stan. A lot of the stuff he does is "controversial" or said to be, but the way he displays it in the videos negates that, or balances it. If you take the message behind this song and put it with the visuals, he gives real life a chance to be seen. No one else in the history of the world, at least imo, can tell a story visually as well as verbally as he can. This is why he is the #Goat
The tornado and volcano bar was a reference to an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object
Also a tornado meeting a volcano makes an hourglass shape meaning time is running out
Middle school-ish me was obsessed with this song, along with most other Eminem songs, Rihanna songs & pop/rap stuff in general 🤣
