That's just before corona hit! amazing! I was there in 2017/2018, for NYE, there wasn't that many people there ! I hope all the travelers will be back to Asia soon and we can replicate those good times.
I cannot get over how built up it is. I was there in 2010. Helped Gang and his brother carry a huge fridge from the top where the truck dropped it off to the bar. Best trip of my life. Spent 3 weeks here. Does anyone know if the brothers still run it? I don’t think that’s how you spell his name but that’s how it sounds. ❤️

It used to be word of mouth and you only told the cool people but thanks to the internet and cell phones, every one now knows..... my first time 1995 Hardin! ;-) Goa became too commercial at that time and everyone came here haha Those were the days...
But I think if it's your very first time there, it's still ok, I'll just compare it to my days there bevor :-(
At that time you were only allowed to get to know unbelievable characters, because of course only people with the same attitude were told where this place is, you can imagine what it was like back then... the Thai would say to this situation : Same same but different ;-) I miss this time so so much that was the best time of my life finally being with people who think and feel the same way as you no idiot far and wide there was only the beach sand moon and the water the indescribable music and the best people in the world ( And that's where I met the woman of my dreams, who I dated for eight months, but that's another story ) ^^

Bamboo Resturant is up the hill on the Had Yuan side of Eden and Horizon Resort on the other,then you go down the steep hill to Had Tien and the Sanctuary.I cry when I get there and when I leave.....
