I think one of the main reasons why Mephisto still has value, when you compare him to HT, is also what other characters can replace him. For HT (male, blast, superhero) just this year we got Iron Man, Iceman, Strange and Adam Warlock. What blast supervillain have we gotten since Mephisto? As far as I remember, we got Ebony Maw, who is a support, and we have Iron Man's old uni now because of the T4, but that's it.
I very much agree. I reckon he'll get finally replaced when Magneto gets a new uni (which shouldn't be very far) and he jumps back in the meta like a train.

True he is is not god tier but still pretty good especially for new player, I'm able to clear WBL Knull on the day I unlock with him WITHOUT a proc since but a mighty transcendence which is arguably worse since his main damage come from 5 and T3 which if you have proc I don't think you can ever miss a proc
Knull helped me when I didn't have any pierce, I'll eternally be grateful for being able to push with terrible uncrafted cards purely on the strength of knull
I agree. Gorr isn't 4 times better than T4 Hulk, but he is built with materials that are easy to come by. I'd rather spend CCF, BAM, and gold for a character that lasts 6 months than spending crystals and T4 mats for a character that lasts 6 months.
Tier-4 characters will last forever. Or at least until you got other Tier-4 of the same type that can do same thing the first tier-4 did but better. And for that will take at least a year unless you are spending money to get every new Tier-4 possible.
I'm a veteran and a hoarder, and I've pulled the trigger on every native T3 each time. With the resources we get now, it's easier and easier (I was blocked for a few days with Gorr for Universal Records). As a very low-spender, like you said, it's an attractive option. They don't need the uniforms to be good, and they keep their value for longer. I still get use out of Sentry on horrendous ban weeks in TL.
The only problem with waiting on maxing out a character is there's always going to be a newer better one. I agree with Alex on not t4ing Black Widow but if the next one is good, what about the one after that who is better? Wait again? And again? And again? Sometimes you just have to go for it cause every character is going to be out classed at some point and if you keep waiting then you'll get decision paralysis.
Sharon and Luna were so OP at base level that no matter how new and strong characters were that got released afterwards; they were actually playing catch up. Hell, I remember when u refused to T2 Sharog. They gave her her uniform, and she had a souped up version of singularity's stun lock ball. That shit kept her ahead of the pack even MORE

I wonder what will happen if they just give the Native T3s the ability to get 2nd Potential and go up to 80 but still be unable to get T4 so its just primarily for stats.

Started taking longer breaks when they began breaking the updates in half... Dropping uniforms that were nerfed from the demo version, and then reworked to be beasts after the uniform discount ended, and everyone skipped the uniform for being so flawed. This was the GR situation. School made me hate this because it was done on purpose. It was a genuine can grab, and turned me off from being as loyal.

Saved up for roughly 2 months and this morning I T3’d 3 characters and transcended 4 characters. Felt good. Need to get all of them there eventually. Need more fragments from story mode. Also, Native T3’s aren’t worth building anymore.
I think building Native T3s can work if you’re a new player. Sentry can work for PvP and PVE, Mephisto as well can do “heavy lifting” for WBL and ABX/ABL. if you’re new player and your roaster is not thaaat extend, those native T3s might help to get more and more resources to build your characters. Even more if a new player does not have pierce. They’re soooo useful!!
the long term relevance alone is worth enough to build nt3s for me, normal chars average relevance 3 to 5 months native t3s, 2 years and people still confused, lol... oh and dont forget they gonna get unis at some point and u just get another 2 years worth upgrade...
I just build them 6st till lvl 60 and use em for shadowland mostly who knows what the future might bring for them and if u like their change u will build that char if not they are good enough on high floors at lvl 60 they can clear floor 120 with no sweat shed.

Knull is 62 (and has only reached 60 in the past few months), Mephisto is complete, but I only did it because of ABX, and it still took me about 9 months to finish him. I just want better rewards. The Devs are still so tone deaf on rewards for actually playing the game.
I don't think like new players old players or returning players should build them up like I have been playing for 5 years and I just started working on sentry and right now it is a waste knull I just beat him 3 times and it's fun to play them because to me it's challenging but I don't think people should build them up but I just want to see one character come in to the game and that is Maria Hill but no I don't think players should build them it would be a waste of time and resources

It takes a while till new players can defeat Knull. That means they can only get access to Sentry. And by the time they can defeat Knull and get Knull, Knull cannot help them do more content anymore. That is the same case for the other native T3s. So I would say the native T3s are rather for veterans.
I ranking up gorr bcause ive nvr build native T3 character, so this gorr will be my 1st native t3 i ever build. Good or bad, at least one native t3 fr my f2p acc😁

We all make mistakes when we start. Building Mephisto too soon is a minor one, don’t worry about it. I’m F2P, been playing 15 months, haven’t built him past 60…but even at 60 he’s my best blast villain 😆😆😆

I’m a returing player, have an account 4 years old , and when i return After a 8/9 mounth break i was i little bit scaried about my roaster, but with Sentry in pvp , Mephisto and Knull in pve i still was able to do a lot of content (now try to build Gorr). Fur sure their value is not like other recent mvp but i’m still happy with their performance. Also as you said any of the first 3 of them can get an uniform anytime soon so if their value right now is this, what can happen in a few mounths if they get an uniform?
I haven't finished maxing out Sentry, Knull and Mephisto... I still use Sentry in TL and Mephisto in ABX. I have not used Knull since I had him... He is a waste of resources for me. I have not recruited Gorr even I have his bios, 2 days after his release and I don't think I will build him up. Building the T4's now... I have Iron Man and Hulk at the moment and probably Thor and perhaps Namor as a pair...

Rule about MFF: Never expecting character's power (damage) based on the original source. Even they can make their original characters not much powerful (War Tiger, Sun Bird, Crescent, etc).
sentry was super cheap tbh for a native t3. was such a good deal back then and ive even built him as my first t3 without regrets. him and moonstone pushed my account so far.
we need world boss character acquired character tier list, or showcase of the 4 world boss legend, Knull, Mephisto, Gorr and Ultron uni (need to revisit him)

Gorr is still bad. You do this reaction dangerously often, where a character is outright bad, but you try to act or downplay it like they are not. These are the same reactions you had to skiparis and infinity midtron. At the time you acted like they weren't that bad/they were good, only to months later admit that yes they were useless upon release. When you have to argue so hard that gorr might have a place as a very niche manual play timeline (and not even top meta) character then you know they are bad.

I'm using native T3 only for leaders. Knull for Symbotes. Gorr for Hulk np. Mephisto is for himself, and Sentry is not so bad leader for everyone.
Rule about MFF: Never expecting character's power (damage) based on the original source. Even they can make their original characters not much powerful (War Tiger, Sun Bird, Crescent, etc).
It would be quite sick if they release a native tier 3 for Kang the Conqueror when Ant Man Quantamania comes out 👌
sentry was super cheap tbh for a native t3. was such a good deal back then and ive even built him as my first t3 without regrets. him and moonstone pushed my account so far.
From my testings, mephisto is also one of the best story mode auto clearers if you don't have all the characters!
we need world boss character acquired character tier list, or showcase of the 4 world boss legend, Knull, Mephisto, Gorr and Ultron uni (need to revisit him)
There are no "hidden knobs" you just can't/ shouldn't put power of angry hulk ISO set on EVERY character. I challenge you to explore this more CynicAlex

as an f2p i will build those to hit shadowland 130 or 140, also to hold on areas in ac, other than that they dont hold value for me, but of all them i must say gorr is the worst, he cant even clear shadowland properly under 35 stages at 2* compared to knull

None of the WBL native T3s are worth the effort/investment. Players need to wake up and stop listening to these so called creators when they over hype characters.
It's not overhype. They're the shit at the time of release, but the value in building them involves longer term thinking. They can't stay at the top

Gorr is still bad. You do this reaction dangerously often, where a character is outright bad, but you try to act or downplay it like they are not. These are the same reactions you had to skiparis and infinity midtron. At the time you acted like they weren't that bad/they were good, only to months later admit that yes they were useless upon release. When you have to argue so hard that gorr might have a place as a very niche manual play timeline (and not even top meta) character then you know they are bad.
