Yes, I know this is from RPDR UK (s5), however, this is an even bigger & more common issue here in America... which leads me to the last thing I wanted to say --- "INNOCENT until proven guilty" is one of our most important, fundamental & longstanding pillars of our society. It's one of the founding principles that helped to make the United States of America the greatest country on Earth... the "shining city on a hill". We really, really, reeeally need to get back to that and stop all of this insanity! A society simply can't survive like this, the proof being virtually every other society throughout all of history. We must stop this truly absurd, asinine, diabolical, heinous, ludicrous, monstrous, wicked etc etc. movement of assumed guilt/believe all allegations etc - aka 'Guilty Until Proven Innocent' - and we must to stop it NOW! We need to go back to being [actual] LIBERALS!
Just to be crystal clear, for the record, "Progressive(s)" = anti-Liberal(s) 💯 These two groups are NOT the same, in any way, shape or form... they're not even remotely similar to each other. In fact, these two groups are diametrically & fundamentally opposed to each other in every way & at every level.

I don't know if the allegations were ever proven true, or false. That said, I think that most people out there (meaning the average person) still believe in "INNOCENT until proven Guilty". Nor do they think it's OK to take action against a person (ie. fire, attack, harrass, bully, arrest, imprison etc) based off of allegations alone. I know for me, and most people out there, firing someone over unproven allegations is an infinitely bigger "PR problem". There wouldn't have really been a [PR] problem had they left this person in & just released a statement saying that action wouldn't be taken until this person was found guilty or definitive evidence was provided to prove the allegations were true.

Because this time they knew while editing that one queen is disqualified, so they just didn’t use scenes with her.
This time they didn’t have to cut out scenes out of the already finished edit.
SP reached top 5 and this one was eliminated early so editing her out is quite easy

They had her name on the Wikipedia page for a few days after the episodes aired. The disqualified queen was Crystal Lubrikant.

Her name is Crystal Lubrikant. Her name was on the Wikipedia page for a bit till they deleted it.
I was obsessed by the editing of the episode, looking for that 11th contestant.
I didn't see her anywhere in the episode, wondering if it was only a rumor, but I finally saw her wig multiple times during the lipsync and after.
They still did an amazing job, but I can't wait to be in two weeks, when we'll get the original edit.

The BBC and WOW should formally address this.
I don't think is necesary to be honest, like why should them give a predator some air time, and also, the producers found out about this pretty early while filming so the queen got cut right away, so that means we'll see some strange camera angles for like the next two episodes.
Tbh, at this point, I think what has been done is the appropriate response. If by chance the accusations are false (from what I've heard it's just been accusations with nothing confirmed, but I might have just missed it being confirmed) they are saving someone from getting loads of threats, and if the accusations are true then they have eliminated the 9chance for that queen to gain any following from the show, which is best because even Sherry got fans after everything just because her name was on drag race.
They won't. Why? UK and Ireland have become a playground for "queer" people. From charges being dropped in a heartbeat, to the inclusion of males in female prison aisles. UK clearly doesn't want to frame one of the most forward policies down the water drain. To say "hey, a drag queen was accused by multiple credible sources of sexual assault" would be firing a gun in its own foot. This is disingenuous and a terrible way to conduct a responsible answer to a criminal like that. It's not about "giving" the predator the spotlight, it's about accountability. Whenever there is any accusation against "queer" or "t peep", there's a HUGE VITRIOL: "it's transphobia this, and transphobia that", and none of the accusations are taken seriously.
