Dominator is the absolute peak of Burnout themes, I've never heard instrument selection nearly as perfect for a game's theme song as I have this. They did my early teens that were full of Burnout 2 great justice.

That song is legendary, I have only played and heard of Paradise and Legends, but they were HUGE (and I mean HUGEEE) parts of my childhood, but another part of my childhood was that Mr Bean movie "Mr Bean holiday", which had that song Crash, I love it
Thank God for soundtracks, without them we prob wouldn't be able to connect to these things nearly as much as we do

I remember loving 3 and Revenge. At some point I also got Dominator, but sorry, didn't like it as much, at least it wasn't fun enough to be nostalgic for me now. But Revenge especially, is a masterpiece in my mind.

RIP Burnout, the game that I grew up with, burnout one was the best as I was housebound and recovering from hospital back when I was a kid, and being a kid with no family was hard but burnout was always there for me, I'm 27 now and I still miss the good old days of having my buddies round and playing split screen, and burnout paradise was awesome and introduced me to alot of crazy people around the world, my favourite game series through the teen years of my life.
Now at age 27 whenever I hear paradise city on the radio it always makes me smile and reminds me of a time when I was just happy to be alive, now with work, bills and depression life just never feels like I will have it as good as I did back then, I hope that in the future for the next generation they will have something as fun and as memorable as burnout.

Lack of crash mode is the only thing honestly, apart from that is one of the best Burnouts, the Dominator mechanic is honestly amazing and really fun, while still being really challenging as well, infact i would argue Dominator is the hardest Burnout to complete

What he means by as where it began is that Burnout 3 TD became a global racing icon the popularity skyrocketed millions or maybe billions of burnout fans all across the world, the game of the millennia, not to forget as well as being the 10/10 rating of gaming critics a like. This game maybe old but millions of burnout fans still play this 15 year old game. Me and millions of other burnout fans can only wish that Electronic Arts formaliy known as EA can make a remastered version of this old popular game.

Burnout Revenge on the Xbox 360 uses the Burnout 2 menu music and has a different main menu to the ps2 & Xbox versions.

That video in Revenge just OOZES rage. Just cars going hundreds of miles per hour giving zero fucks about the traffic whizzing past them. I don't feel like any non-Burnout game Criterion's worked on since has exhibited such a batshit insane feeling of speed. As themes go though, my favorites are Shot Down by Nine Black Alps, Dominator's theme, Takedown's theme, and Paradise City.
I just realized that all the Burnout themes up to Paradise (excluding Legends) are played on the same E note. That's interesting.

@@etam8099 Yeah, Dominator was a great game. Everybody bashes it just because there was no CrAsH MoDE, which I thought was kinda fun but nothing special. It doesn't have traffic checking, making it making far more intense than Revenge. Oh, and I appreciate the variety of looks and types of cars in Dominator whereas in Revenge, most of the cars were basically the same but with a different body kit.

Imagine burnout as a story counting only burnout, burnout 2, burnout 3, burnout revenge, and paradise in the first one you feel like having fun you start off alone and try to survive to beat your record burnout 2 people start joining you since they liked it and you start getting faster cars burnout 3 you are noticed and people invite you for racing crashing and surviving in super cars burnout revenge you move and join other guys with heavily moddified cars to crash each other into the other lanes and cause havoc in the traffic burnout paradise you move out and have nothing they decide to give you a car and you try to climb the scales to earn your reputation one last time to prove you are better than anyone else and wreck any newcomers
this makes me miss my burnout paradise and my xbox 360... i got it as an early christmas present in november 2015. i had just gotten out of the shower, i was still wrapped in a towel and when i opened the underwear drawer there was a controller Xbox console inside and when I turned around, I saw my dad and his girlfriend (who I always called "Aunt") with the console and controller. I have never been so close to having a heart attack!
