Gsoul aKa golden and jay park known each other since around 2005 gsoul was a backup singer by Mariah Carey and was Rkelly’s protege at some point. Golden was in the same label than jay when jay was in a group jay left in 2009 but gsoul stayed from early 2000 to around 2016-7 but he was pretty much hidden in the dungeon since the company was known for mismanagement especially with solo artists. He is pretty known in the underground industry but weirdly the major public didn’t know about him that’s why he participated in the voice korea I think it was 2019 and we actually won the show. Personally I thought he was more suited to be on the juges/ coaches sides than as a contestant. But yeah at least it made people know about him
Also all 3 of them are in their 30s it explain why they have a pretty strong knowledge of music.
