Something I think you forgot to mention: Weakened Survivor's portraits will be lit up when they are actively staring at you, giving you information that someone is near by. The weakened state also generally allows survivors to be seen far more easily by the purple glow they give off, and the glow brightens while they actively stare at you as well, making it a decent tracking effect.
I don’t think it’s a mimic. The descriptions of the skins and the empty eyes lead me to believe they are victims. It think the Neck thing is the Unknown itself, and the skin is just a puppet that it moves around. That’s why the limbs are all backwards and weird, it isn’t quite wearing the skin right, like the cockroach alien from Men In Black. It’s also possible that the man, cheerleader and old woman may all exist at once, each being one arm of the unknown as it puppets multiple corpses from some other dimension. If this is the case, it may have more bodies out there that the entity hasn’t captured.
I was gonna say it seems inspired by today's analog horror more than anything else. (also, what you described is pretty much a mimic, just more of the "wolf in sheep's clothing" type of mimic)
the actual answer is that it adapted that into it's form after a Government believed it was an alien or failed laboratory project. hence the name of the ability being: "Unknown Venom X"
I've had great fun using Unforeseen with Doctor. Because his Shock works with the terror radius you can wander off to stealth around and still get some shock value when they go to try and complete the gen. Especially good if gens are close together.
They dont move 6% slower when weakend, they are only slowed down by 6 when a ball goes through them and it lasts a really short time so it doesnt have a huge effect
Hi Kyto, I have found that for The Unknown's add-ons, the B-Movie Poster is actually pretty solid on him if you run a heavy information build. Running monitor and abuse, discordance, and nurse's on him allows you to hit multiple survivors with a single UVX shot. If you are able to injure multiple at a generator, you can start a chase with someone that has been freshly weakened and leave the survivors that were injured by your shot to chase later, since they will be broken for 30 seconds afterwards, making it pretty hard for them to pressure gens and save the person on the hook as well. It isn't as universal as using the brown photo or the magic box add-ons, but it can be quite strong with a more experienced Unknown player.
Bro, when I was playing as his killer, a girl walked up and I stand still but she was already hurt so when she walked by, I just hit her in the head and then I just kept repeating that until I won so that’s the easiest way to win as unknown😂
Another amazing add-on is Backpack. It gives you total control over Hallucinations and can even turn them into a sort of on-demand explosive that can make your job easier if they don't expect it. The amount of pressure Hallucinations give is crazy and Backpack just lets you magnify it and keep it consistent through the entire match, along with turning useless decoys into very very useful ones
Talking about the perks made me realize that a fun build could be as many terror radius' as possible with unforseen, dark devotion and the OSS report to give a gen, a survivor and your decoy all their own terror radius if the perks stack.
Not sure about the iri add-on, but I’ve seen it confirmed that Unforeseen and Dark Devotion DO stack (ie, you can place two terror radii simultaneously). Sounds like a good recipe for shenanigans.

It fired my uvx at the staircase and it BOUNCED off the flat part, through the doorway at the back of the main building and into the survivor's path. This was on Eerie of Crows. It's one of my favourite clips I've captured in dbd

Quick tips: The UVX explosion has a lingering hitbox, similar to the Tentacle Strike. This likely won’t be a huge deal but is worth knowing about. You can’t spawn a Hallucination in the basement if a survivor is hooked there so don’t even try. You can hit multiple survivors with UVX, so use it if you catch them healing each other. Hallucinations provide a bit of tracking. If you spawned one near a gen and it disappears without you spawning a new one, you know a survivor is nearby where it used to be.
I heard from a friend that the Unknown is just an avatar of the entity. Sable never saw him, only heard what she thought was The Unknown before it was taken, so it could have very well just have been the Entity giving sable what she wanted to hear and creating an image from what she drew, and the "everyone it kills disappears" is just the entity taking the other survivors in lore. The DBD version of the gym teacher joining the loosing team in dodgeball

i got a skin idea, for those who knows league of legends there is one character that would be perfect. If you know what he does in game fiddlesticks and unknown are sooo similiar the voicelines clones and EVEN those tentacles or the ball can fit him really good weapon is similiar (kind of). i know they said that they cannot change power skin but when i saw naughty bear trapper skin i think they could do it. thanks forreading my comment have a great day!!! ^_^

I was literally just telling by buddies about what if they made mimic skins of other killers the other day! Idk if they'd go in depth, but maybe they could even give them a distorted version of their chase music, enough you can tell its supposed to be that, but not so much you think it's a different killer in chase

I've been running grim embrace on the Unknown, due to instant teleportation you can get a hook and immediately teleport away, I've got some insane value out of it
The part about leaving a copy behind after teleporting is fun. I was on RPD east wing and a Steve threw one of the up stairs pallets in the main lobby. What he didn’t realize is that I had a hallucination right behind him and he was doing the whole t-bag dance. So I TPd behind him and downed him. Funniest thing I’ve done with this guy.

A weakness I find with the Unknown is that it's a pretty loud killer. During chase I have lost survivor by not being able to hear them that great.
