The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technology in Biacore systems detect and quantify binding between two molecules in an automated and highly sensitive process. As the SPR detection principle relies on changes in mass, and allows you to analyze interactions in real-time without the need for labels. The technology provides binding kinetics, affinity, specificity, concentration, epitope binning and more. This is true for any size of molecule in a pure or complex sample.
