    I like this channel because in every video you guys get stuff done. I hate when youtubers make ten 20min+ episodes out of thing you could finish in 15 minutes. So once again, big THANK YOU for making such a great content!
    P.S. Maybe a bonus video about you guys?
    I know ,,the girl" appeared, and some other climbing stuff was uploaded before, but I don't know a lot of other stuff, and I think so is with everyone else watching. I mean, I've been here since World's fastest mustang episode, and I did stick around ever since. Cheers, from Poland! :)

    Nice CAD work. When I first started working about my current job I had to build a somewhat involved test box with about a few dozen switches, test points, and pots on the front panel. I mocked it all up on cardboard, and some of the other engineers gave me a hard time about my exquisite engineering skills, but you can never forget your roots. Who needs autodesk when you have cardboard aided design.

    In the early 80s my older brother bought a Honda Odessy. I thought it was the funnest thing ever created. I spent hours and hours terrorizing trails near our house in that thing. I always wondered why they put a solid rear axle on it.
    That thing looks ten thousand times funner than the one we had. Good work as always. 👍

    Just after you guys did the motor swap I found and bought an fl350. Also found an entire front end off of a Polaris predator 500. I modeled it up in CAD to check for bump steer castor / camber gains. I just wish I had the original quad to pull measurements from. I have the steering tie rod just in front of the wheel tub. I'm going to use a rack for the steering. This will also give me about +10" of wheelbase. Keep up the great work. FULLSEND THAT MODyssey!

  • @tgsubie
    @tgsubie 5 лет назад

    You guys are the BEST. Although i think the trailing arms should be slightly redesigned to "tuck in" closer to the chassis around the hubs so that you could run nice wide wheels on the back with a lot of positive offset. That would keep the rear end within a reasonable width and give it quite the "meatier" look, no? Otherwise its just gonna be on thin tires and crazy wide. Just my opinion. Love you guys!

    Once thats done it needs the wheels from the 500 quad and some big ass RC buggy style tires and a HUGE racing wing. It would look straight up like an RC car. Some KC pod lights to round the look out.

    I flipped an Odyssey over in 1978 on an old logging road on Mitkof island in Alaska and was apparently out for a good 3 minutes. Of course, we didn't have a rear suspension back then but had installed a 1977 250 Honda Elsinore engine. If you didn't use the lap belt and lifted your butt about 6" out of the seat you could do killer wheelies, of course, this also opened the door to worse injuries. A fair trade-off some would think.

    Looks awesome! Now it just needs front suspension, wheels and tires. And I can't tell for certain, but it looks like maybe the CVT belt might eventually rub a hole in the trans-end CV boot and ruin your day. I could easily be wrong, also.
