Yes, I'll second that! While we thoroughly enjoy watching you guys go fast, we definitely do NOT want to see one of you guys get hurt bad or killed. You have a lot of people who love your videos, be safe our friends.
The feet hanging right out the front of that odyssey looks scary for a roll over. Maybe some mesh or foot loops to hold your feet inside the cage in case of a roll.
I don't like anything that straps you in. A harness is one thing as it takes 1 hand and almost no time to undo. Feet straps would either get you stuck, or wouldn't be effective.
When I had mine I welded a 300 cc big red frame to the back and rolled over so many times it snapped all my welds and the motor fell off. I was safe and shit was fun.
Very cool. Years back our 79 Odyssey made a track in the tall bushes and woods behind a house. The lay of the land was just right and we took advantage of all it had to offer. We reached a level of cool that I even built a reviewing stand. We had it all, tunnels, camel humps........and then land owner said "nope". In life, you can not have too much land.
Maybe clear some trees out in critical spots and use the logs to line the edges? Around the outer edges of the big downhill and uphill sections. As fast as these builds are, I could see some crumpled tubes coming eventually
Longer videos please Edwin and Ethan, you guys so Rock!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are 1 of the best RUclipsrs out there right now!!!!!!!! Keep up the Gr8 work!!!!!!!! Much love to you guys from Tampa FL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking more simple like a right hand turn at the bottom of the hill. First because it’s a left hand oval at the moment but also to really test the grip... a hard down hill breaking section will test set ups to the max
Cortnie Smith maybe a large 180 degree right hand turn down there at the end of the hill and a jump over the track at the end of the hill then continue down the track
if you see in the video the old track crosses the new at the base of the hill. so I think a good combo of that would be to hook right, kinda 180 left up the steep section of hill, then right back down another part of the hill to then re join the track as it goes up around the house. Pretty sure a ski jump type thing up the hill would be perfect as it allows for big air safely but also if you’ve not got much suspension you wouldn’t land heavy either.
At 9:36 you guys should think about moving the stack of wood on the saw horses. If you swing wide going fast you have a potential of running right into that stack and that wont go well for the driver. Keep doing the awesome builds I enjoy the videos.
I have a large residential property in southern idaho I am doing the reverse of this, planting a forest and building a rally track for my Tesla. Found this video while looking for inspiration and I found it, cheers friends 🌳
Awesome guys ! I enjoyed this so much because it reminded me of when I was a teen We would strip the bodies of VW bugs and run on the chassis pans ! Just two seats And no roll over protection, only a brace for the steering wheel. Soooo much fun !
Sweet upload dudes! Edwin, finally you’ve got some seat time in front of the camera! (“Ethan, hold my camera, I’ve got lap times to beat!”) I have two requests, 1.) light the course for night rallying, 2.) a gap jump - doesn’t have to be massive, just something point to point! Keep doing what you do, dudes!
The new track looks great guys! The weather is still looking nice over there, out here in western Washington it’s been really wet 😕 but hopefully it turns to snow in the mountains soon! Take care guys 🙂
Great video Edwin! Great runs and driving Ethan! Thanks guys! P.S. Ethan, you were scaring the crap out of me and I wasn't even there. I think I held my breath for your entire run.
A few carefully located sheaves, a little tubing plus some starter cord and your Oddasity could be started from the seat. There's very little pulling force lost to friction. You could pace your track for an approximate loop measurement to use for calculating average lap speeds or spend 20 minutes and build a wheel for accurately measuring distance. Either way keeping track of and sharing your accomplishments is interesting. Peace.
You should be saving all your topsoil that you pull off.Make a few piles around the property so you don’t have to travel too far but you could definitely use it in the future somewhere on the track
Such an awesome thing and tracks at home so much fun...I would recommend one thing some padding around the tress that are on bends for saftey (I worked in malls and it saved so many people and damage to cars) same reason go-kart tracks use them saftey (as a cage will bend as don't think u guys used cage tubing) Keep safe
That radiator fan sure does look like it's pushing that Odysey at an incredible rate from that rear camera shot lol Thanks for sharing and as always keep building👍
You guys are so cool. The karts you guys have are just awesome. I wise I had one of you guys karts. They look so fun to ride. Keep up the good work.🤘😀😎
I saw a remote control bob cat before and though it would be way better than actually sitting in the dusty bumpy tractor. Plus you can get a good view of the stuff in the bucket. To make a berm in a tractor you usually have to be perpendicular to the corner. If you go straight into the corner its hard to carve out the the dirt to make an embankment.
You should widen that first sharp turn. It looks like you want to naturally want to push wide on the turn exit, so if you give it an extra 2ft that may help
@ Grind Hard Plumbing Co You should put some nerf bars on the side of the Odyssey. You don't want that rear end to slide out and have a rear tire hook a tree. It will rip your machine in two and maybe break your neck. Look at the bars they use on cross carts. If you use them hopefully you will slide off of the tree instead of hooking it. Awesome F@#%ING build! Keep it up!
I thought I was watching Andrew Camarata there, for a second! ;-) Andrew would be right at home here! "OK. Today Levi and I are checking out this job. It's a race track for Edwin and Ethan of "Grind Hard Plumbing Co."...
If you guys want to make the berm corner awesome, have you guys seen the New Zealand rally roads. The whole road leans in the corner rather than the outside edge leaning up.
Right at the new start bye the tree house you should stretch out the berm on the straight out area take the little tree out and make the berm longer where you messed up on the berm I just feel like you'll you drift further around that corner better if you do it this is just my opinion so yeah just giving a little info 😉
Im truly hoping that my kids see the value in hard work and good living gives you self pride and confadince.. Some body lite that fire under your asses and we should tip our hats to them cause you guys are what friends spose to do.... Great stuff..
So I just realised you guys have been on a few TV shows unrelated to your vehicle mods. You had your treehouse featured on Treehouse Masters as well as being part of a production called The Woodsmen. I've been thinking I recognised the tree house but I didn't put it together till I saw the bridge.
I make tracks for racing simulations, sometimes some fantasy tracks/layouts too. My advice would be still having some tight-ish hairpin somewhere, or esses into hairpin section, so first you position the car one side, then flick it into the hairpin. The track as is now is brilliant but IMO a bit too open all the way, needs some tighter section for testing the brakes and handling capability.
This looks like great fun, but boys pleas be careful; trees and high speed can be lethal and we want to keep you guys around. Maybe clear some more trees away from the sides of the track in strategic places?
New track is awesome! But I liked the jump in the old one😉 It was epic when you guys jumped the Subaru down that hill because I didn t expect that at all😂
Y'all should get a micron 5 for y'all track times , it can show you rpm, mph ,and water temp and it learns what ever layout you run with gps and keeps your data
I'm building an off-road buggy with a Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird engine in it. The spec sheet says it pushes 150hp with 87 ft-lbs of torque. I'm excited and scared all at the same time. Lol
the track looks sweet and is quite fast... Maybe some sort of log guard rails for the fast corners with trees dont want to watch one of you catch a wheel on a tree doing 60 sideways and hurt yourself
The original track seems quiet a lot more diverse. Maybe make a combination of the two by making the rally course a two round track with different directions? The new course seems to lack some tight corners..
Did anybody else notice this was filmed before the last Odessy video beachside it still has the stock front suspension not the Polaris long travel suspension fitted in the lad odessey
You guys are literally living my dream, property, rally track, equipment, fun builds, great tools like a lathe. One day I'll get there!!
We need a meet up where you race the 206 cart against there toys
Tree house too!
with those speeds i think its time for a neck brace my dudes
Yes, I'll second that!
While we thoroughly enjoy watching you guys go fast, we definitely do NOT want to see one of you guys get hurt bad or killed. You have a lot of people who love your videos, be safe our friends.
Hans and fucking armor please
3rd that
Actuality that's good advise.
We race on dirt we've seen in late models at low speed what can possibly can happen
The feet hanging right out the front of that odyssey looks scary for a roll over. Maybe some mesh or foot loops to hold your feet inside the cage in case of a roll.
Caged bike pedals would probably work well
I don't like anything that straps you in. A harness is one thing as it takes 1 hand and almost no time to undo. Feet straps would either get you stuck, or wouldn't be effective.
That's all redesigned now. This was still the stock front suspension.
When they rebuilt the front end I'm pre sure that issue is fixed
When I had mine I welded a 300 cc big red frame to the back and rolled over so many times it snapped all my welds and the motor fell off. I was safe and shit was fun.

Nice i use the logs from the trees I cut down to out line parts of my track helped with erosion just a suggestion
Good call
Maybe clear some trees out in critical spots and use the logs to line the edges? Around the outer edges of the big downhill and uphill sections. As fast as these builds are, I could see some crumpled tubes coming eventually
Maybe add a little corrugated section to the track too 😁
Longer videos please Edwin and Ethan, you guys so Rock!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are 1 of the best RUclipsrs out there right now!!!!!!!! Keep up the Gr8 work!!!!!!!! Much love to you guys from Tampa FL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y'all should add a small table top jump or a whoop section or something to really test y'all's long travel setups
I was thinking more simple like a right hand turn at the bottom of the hill. First because it’s a left hand oval at the moment but also to really test the grip... a hard down hill breaking section will test set ups to the max
yessss.

When are you guys going to do a engine swap with your bobcat 😂😬😬
😅👍 now that you mention it,I'm surprised they haven't
Bob cat lap record
Yes it needs a 2jz single turbo
@@jeremyhanna3852 got to have 1200 hp

Guys you work soo hard keep up and btw your music is awensome thats big plus that you making music for your videos.

I saw those safety squints you used when cutting the trees... lol

(“Ethan, hold my camera, I’ve got lap times to beat!”) I have two requests, 1.) light the course for night rallying, 2.) a gap jump - doesn’t have to be massive, just something point to point! These are both fantastic ideas thanks!
Yeah add a jump on an optional line so you don’t have to hit it with the street builds.
Videos that you like without even having to watch it.
"Yeah, we broke all of those" hahahahaha
We may never have everything working at the same time haha

This video is a good demo of what the old Odyssey looks like. Looking forward to the new build to run the track.

That one corner needs sorting still he over shoots it every time but the rest looks mint 👌
yeah the first corner for sure
Fuginnn mint
how to make weird vids boi yes not a bad track they got on there own property tbf
Needs more banking and to be smoothed out and pulled further at the end of the corner
That moment at 1:12 is part of what makes this channel my favorite
Ohhh. That is proper rowdy now!
That fast left with the stacked lumber and trees on the outside looks kinda sketch however.
Odyssey rips though!
That jump down the hill was bonkers m8!
I realy gotta say it to even point it out feels so good u guys realy living the boyhood dream love what i see wish to come and visit u guys some day😊
That radiator fan sure does look like it's pushing that Odysey at an incredible rate from that rear camera shot lol

Started watching the video, 4 seconds in, WAIT! Paused to like it and continued. We know every videos worth it ❤
You guys are so cool. The karts you guys have are just awesome. I wise I had one of you guys karts. They look so fun to ride. Keep up the good work.🤘😀😎

Woohoo
Love peace and axle grease brothers!!! Man yall just been going non stop an growing. Again congrats on the Jay Leno garage show.
You should widen that first sharp turn. It looks like you want to naturally want to push wide on the turn exit, so if you give it an extra 2ft that may help
You really should put some wrist restraints on the odyssey. If that flips over, whoever's driving it is gonna break their arms.
Austin Randolph - (I believe you mean arm restraints) but, I agree totally. Some sort of restraint - something is better than nothing.
Arm and foot restraints of some sort if they're going to be sending it that hard lol
@@Dan_Kornfeld on the odessyes they had wrist loops on the steering wheel
Good practice is if you have the oh shit moment and getting ready to go over is to cross your arms and grab your shoulder belts
lol my brother grabbed roll bars inna flip

Yew, that is so ripping rowdy, oh yeah. I wish you lots of safe fun but it may only be a matter of time before someone really gets hurt.
I do like the idea of including the big hill in the track. Fun vid guys!
11:00 that is a very big jump, and the landing is narrow between two trees, lol. probably good that you have a new track actually. safer.
I wish I had one 10th of you guy's talent....you are both amazing!!! My idols!

9:00 the old track is still pretty cool... all that sideways action. and dust. and i will miss that steep hill. oh well. allgood
9:48 i would have liked to get a shot of that jump down the hill. no worries though, cant be in two places at once :-)
ah, no worries. there is go pro footage of it. my bad, i spoke too soon. :-)
Need some more nice jumps with mild air..... : 0 great episode and still feeling proud you were on Jay Leno's garage.
im stoked to see the mountain scooter run in the snow with the ski and track on it!
That first turn after the treehouse can definitely get improved a lot! Other than that it looks great, I like the flow on the downhill section :)
Sickkkkkkkk as usual!! I would think about some kind of a guard for the front...tops of your feet are exposed pretty good
Those clutches need new internals at 6:23-26ish when you started it you can hear them slapping around rebuild them and it should run a lil faster
If ever there was a time when we needed some of your guys epic slow-mo footage it would have been that jump! Go-Pro was still sick though!
Ya'll need to put a lift kit on your 944 and take it around the new track 😉😉😉
So I just realised you guys have been on a few TV shows unrelated to your vehicle mods. You had your treehouse featured on Treehouse Masters as well as being part of a production called The Woodsmen. I've been thinking I recognised the tree house but I didn't put it together till I saw the bridge.

I love this shit so much. Once you get the front suspension squared away this thing needs some PROPER sand tires and a trip to the dunes.
Are you guys planning on doing any treehouse work in the future. I would love to see the 360 treehouse get an update
yeah, that would be cool.
@@wotever99ninynine I believe in the original video he mentioned that giving it a proper interior was possible

That step down through the trees was absurd XD
more jumps on the old track please :) fast and smooth is cool but crazy is also awesome! good job
