How would you expect a sad little 100 watt inverter to power a hair dryer? Maybe because I’m female and have more experience with this particular appliance, but most are 1000-1500 watts! What scares me was the “powers a Cpap machine” as that requires a pure sine wave and is a medical device that keeps people alive! Nice mat, too bad you didn’t blow that little sucker up, I was hoping you would disassemble, overload and catch it on fire… lol but the don’t want zap yourself? With an unplugged little inverter… lol the number of times I’ve completed 15 and 20 amp 120 AC circuits while painting or drywall if… 🤣 I’ll subscribe for the cute puppy and in hopes you can eventually blow up one of these… 😉
Yeah I didn't even have the heat on for the hair dryer and tested it earlier that day and it pulled right at 150 watts but I guess the start up watts were just too much for it.but I did retest this thing again in another video after. Trust me I've gotten myself a couple of times with 120v not fun. But I do hope to let the smoke out of one of these inverters one day but most of them are fire hazards to have plugged in your car in my opinion. Thanks for watching and subscribing P.S I'll give Mr Milo a treat for you
Yeah it worked some what. I messed up and had the current set to low on the power supply I was using so it didn't like that haha. But increased it and it would power a fan at about 70 watts but at the time that's all I had. I have built a better testing rig for these inverter for the future that can handle 1200watts. Hope that answers your question and thanks for watching.
