Been ages since I watched it but it got me so emotionally messed up for like a week while and an additional week after I watched it. Super charming and sweet.
This was my first anime. I haven’t rewatched it in about 3 years, but just the soundtrack alone gives me weird emotions. This is the pinnacle of yuri anime.
i think what hurts about years after i have watched this is the fact that Shizuma and Tamao would have made fantastic lovers to Nagisa, but she can only choose one to spend with eternally. she chooses to be shizuma in the end and Tamao is left heartbroken, but understanding because she wanted her to be happy. i just thought Tamao is sweet like that and it sucks that she didn't get much of a happy ending
i think Tamao needed to learn that lesson of letting go. her obsession with Nagisa was creepy and letting her go felt like a huge character growth for her
At 05:27, I cried like that girl at a copslay event, I seriously cried just like that even though I'm 18. I cried because, the girl that I like got angry at me and my friends because we went off without telling anyone to take photos, and then.. I just cried my eyes out into my teddy bear and my heart hurt so much... But it's ok because she hugged me and said she didn't mean to make me cry. But more than anything, I want to become someone important to her! I'll do my best!!! >///<
is this connected to silent hill? cuz the lore of this anime and the setting astraea hill is like silent hill? who's sect establish astraea hill? what types of monster each school has?
Came here to see a review after watching this show. It definitely deserved an OVA tying up loose ends. Also it has a soap opera feel to it but I'm a sucker for that stuff. Overall I enjoyed it. Nagisa x Shizuka forever! (Sorry Tamoe... But you have no chemistry/sparks)
