Looks like a recent change made by the team. The more USDT you have on balance, the more of the inactive bonus is going to turn active as well. That might mean that depositing USDT or some other coins and converting them to USDT might be required if you can't grow your USDT balance by using the available bonus.
You do NOT have a USDT balance. You mine BTC and see their current value in USDT. BTC price drops = it's worth less in USDT as well = numbers are lower 😉

1. Because StormGain changed their terms and shorting crypto now requires that you deposit some funds first and can't be done with your bonus USDT.
2. I think I mentioned it in the video, I honestly didn't pay too much attention when I first gave it a try, considering that it's a very small amount and not money I deposited on top of that 🤷♂️ Btw. my personal portfolio is up slightly more than 40% YTD 😉
