- Welcome fellow foolish mortals! Today I'm looking back at my Disney audition experiences. This isn't an advice video or how to pass the Disney auditions, but more of a look back at what the Disney Paris auditions were like back when I took part.
My last Disney audition was way way WAY back so please be aware that the auditions may have changed from then and now.
I am not disclosing in this video full information about the audition but some Disney info will of course be shared.
If you do not want to magic to be ruined or if you are watching with young kiddies please click off this video, I have many more video that you may enjoy instead.
Please do enjoy my look back at my past Disneyland Paris audition experiences and let me know your ideal Disney job role! Развлечения
Thanks for sharing your experience. Our daughter is a CM at Disney World. She’s been to over 10 auditions and has gotten as far as call back, but never given a part. They are looking for specifics every time. I agree with you, it’s not personal when they don’t take you; you’re just not what they need at the time.
It’s so frustrating to be at that last hurdle and fall but I can understand with so many people going for it they can’t take everyone! Hope your daughter gets it next time
I’ve been so excited to watch this video and it definitely lived up to expectations! So exciting to hear what you need to do for the auditions and what goes into finding cast members 😍
Ah thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed 🥰 it’s definitely a fun experience
That’s awesome that you even got a chance to audition :)
It was definitely a really fun experience
Wow! This was really enlightening- I wonder how much it has changed since then! Thanks for sharing x
Ah thank you! I do wonder as it could be exactly the same or entirely different
That seems like an awesome experience. Now you have an amazing story to tell.
Thanks so much
Great video!!! Loving the content✨❤️
Ah thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed
Great video thanks for sharing your experience - I’ve never really thought about the auditions being in London for DLP I just assumed we would need to travel over there ✨

This is exactly what I had assumed until I started looking up Disney character jobs
I auditioned for dancing at Disneyland Paris in November 2019 in Orlando. Didn’t get far but it was a fun experience! It was interesting to hear your experience and how similar it was.
The dance ones are hard! I did a dance one for a Disney cruise ship and I was gone so fast 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed it! It really is a fun audition
Had no idea the auditions were in London. Thanks for sharing.
Unfortunately not every role is in London but the ones for meet and greets and parades have auditions all around different parts of Europe. Thank you for watching
Ohhh what a fun video!, I had no idea you had auditioned for Disney!, that’s amazing. I’ve always said I’d like to work at Disney but I’m also so torn about it. Like I’m sure working there would be so amazing but I also get scared incase it ruins the magic slightly. Although I would LOVE to know all the secrets cause I’m so nosy 🤣
I’ll definitely give you some in sight if you ever fancied going for it but it would be based on my time going between 2014-2016 😂 I think there may be more relevant info out there for auditioning these days 🤔 I’m glad you enjoyed!
@@FoolishMortalLife I wish I had thought of this when I was younger!, feel like my life is too settled now it’s not something I could do anymore 😢 would be amazing though!
@@LorinWatson I understand. It’s not in my future now either. Still there’s other cast member jobs out there
I auditioned for WDW in like, 2014, and it was a very similar experience!!! Glad to hear it's pretty universal!!!
That’s so cool! They must have some kind of standard way of hiring then as I assumed it would be kind of different for wdw
This was so interesting. It was great to find out how cast members are chosen 🥰
Thank you! I’m glad you found it interesting. Definitely a long long looonnngg process and then you may well just be sat in the books waiting even if your successful
@@FoolishMortalLife The majority of people on the books do NOT get a contract. I have worked for them in the past and found them to be very corrupt and discriminate against people with Autism.
I also went to an audition once but because I have asthma they wouldn’t accept me 😂😭😭 maybe we crossed paths. It was so interesting to hear your experience.
No way! That’s so cool that we could’ve crossed paths there! Ah I didn’t know if they enforced the asthma rule honestly or if it was more of a disclosure. If you went any time to any of the London auditions in 2014 and one in on April 2015 and one in 2016 September then we may well have crossed paths there! I always went for the 2nd of the days available
That’s interesting to hear that about the asthma! I’m sorry!
The leaders have seen so many characters and heights. They usually eyeball your height and who you may be friends with it.
So strange that they actually measure you then if they just eyeball it anyway haha
Interesting that all have to be fur characters. So cool that you still have friends from auditioning. sorry you didn't get it but sounds like a good experience anyway
Disney friends definitely make good friends! I’m okay with not having gotten anything in the end. Obviously it’s frustrating at the time but looking back I wouldn’t changed it
We need those ears.. ✨
