Thank you so much for the guide. I just learned about this game the other day I'm picking it up today for my ps5. All I ever do in Red Dead Redemption Online is just fish but I'm tired of getting killed so I am going to be shifting over to this game now.
Thanks for the video :) Instead of keep pressing Strike while realling in to make the fish tired I found the best way to fight the fish is when the fish starts to take line is to hold R2(Strike) when letting go of L2(Reel in) to pull the fish then let go of R2 and real in the line slack with L2. Make sure the trim is set correct so when you hold R2 it dose not put you into the red it should put you to just below it at aroubd 3/4.
I have a question to ask if somebody would please answer, can you catch tiny fish on a big rod and reel setup or do they only bite on a ultra light setup
I bought the game when it came out originally on pc but only started playing recently. Is there a level at which you stop getting a reward? Or is there a level that if you hit it basically unlocks every item that you need? I only have GRR so the highest thing I see so far is like 90.
Great vid! Been playing sinds console release, hit lv 55 today got all possible legendarys but no diamonds spawn for me. I think the devs need to buff diamond spawns.have been watching ar my bobber today for 2 real time hours in hope a daimont take it.. its redicules.... And also what i have seen is your hotspots are not my hotspots... strange but it is..
Already uninstalled the game, knowing that the Hunter is a way older game, the graphics in the angler are so dissapointing, i cant even play it because of that. I am an angker myself and look around alot, but in this game there is nothing to look at, and while hunting in Cotw the hunter just walking around the scenery looks way better
@@RedRider763 to bad it is not, the trees and flowers and stuff are lower quality, also seeing some animals in the Hunter the details are awesome, but the fish dont have that, but that is my opinion. You might like it.

I think max level is 300 but you keep getting rewards above that (I think - not 100% sure)
I just started playing the game and I only got 2 rod set ups as I have to buy more

Do you have a size 5 hook? Use that with minnows. Start with size 10 and work your way up to larger hooks
