I’ve dealt with depression, but it hits the worst the days leading up until my period. I always feel like crying when I’m leading up to it because I know how low I feel during it. I try my best to not just sleep all day, but sometimes it’s the best I feel like I can do. Thank you for sharing 🤍

I turn into a whole different person the week before my period. The PMDD makes me hopeless, exhausted , super irritated, manic, unbelievable sadness, numbness, overwhelmed & sad beyond explanation. 🖤🖤🖤

Things can get really dark for me with pmdd. The older I’ve gotten, the worse it’s gotten. I’m terrified of perimenopause and menopause because I’m afraid it’ll be weeks/months of these feelings instead of a few days. Thinking of you girl ❤

OMG thats where I am. I got pregnant in 2022, delivered via emergency c-section in march of 2023. 4 days later my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I lost him to cancer Jan 2024. I feel like i have been nonstop go go go since 2022. I have been running around tending to everyone else' schedule, sleeping around everyone else' schedule. Now that my baby is 1 and my husband is gone and i dont have to make so many drs appointments or hospital visits... I am exhausted! Also Im stuck on my husbands schedule. I get anxiety feeling like Im supposed to be doing something other than what Im doing. On top of that we have 5 kids. Oldest is 18, then 17, 14, 3, and 1. I am super busy tryna hold it all together for my kids but i am exhausted!!! Im an emotional mess!! I feel forever stuck in this never ending darkness and I feel like I can never catch a break!

I realized this is what I suffer from, when I first watched you talk about it. It takes full control over your emotions which then takes full control over your actions, and in my case I became very violent. I’m almost embarrassed to admit this. I would first cry uncontrollably for days then get angry and “violent”. Up until my last now two periods, I haven’t been feeling like it so much but now I’m going through pre-menopausal symptoms (I’m 49) so I’m thinking this is why I’m not suffering so bad the last two months. I started to understand what I was going through because of your videos and I would do my best to try to understand and control my emotions. Thank you for sharing this💕💐🙏🏻.. sending you good vibes 💕

Girl same. I have literally been diagnosed with borderline personality but I only act like a crazy nut the week before my period. It’s like I’m not myself at all. I feel ugly, unwanted, gross, depressed, angry. And another weird thing is I feel like I’m outside my body, like you said. I have started tracking my periods now and I realize all the worst fights with my husband are the week before my period. Idk why it took me so long to make the connection. Thank you for spreading awareness. 🩷☀️

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this. I also have PMDD and felt exactly like you shared for years. But! Evening primrose oil has literally changed my life. I tell my experience to as many women as I can because this herb literally is the only way I can get through my cycle(and life). I have almost no symptoms as far as my PMDD since taking this. "Doom and gloom, feeling worthless, I suck at life and that nothing matters" is virtually gone. I also have minimal cramps. I take a tincture with water in the morning every day. Evening primrose oil is a wonderful herb for all women hormones and even if you don't have PMDD it works wonders. I didn't feel any difference when I first started taking it (I started taking it while I was ovulating so makes sense) but after 3ish weeks I got my period I kind of forgot my period was even due because of my lack of PMDD symptoms. I literally had no crazy mood swings, no crazy food cravings, no insane irritability, which hasn't happened since I was a teenager. The days before my period were so dark and so depressing and sometimes suicidal. I can't explain enough how my life has literally changed. If you're interested please research for yourself and learn how wonderful this herb is. I got both of my sisters, my sister in law, two friends and my three niece's on it and they have all had the same experience as I. Life changing. The one I use is from Nature's Answer. It tastes like nothing IMO. I've been a follower for a long time and love your content and just wish to give you some relief.

I definitely think it’s more than 5-8%, I feel like I have 2 weeks of feeling myself. A week before, I go through a pattern, breast hurt, super emotional, easily offended, easily irritated, low energy, bloated. 3 days before, I can’t stand anyone, I start to get menstrual headaches, my legs get restless, super fatigue. The day before, my breast stop hurting within 24 hours of me noticing my breast don’t hurt, Aunt Flo makes her arrival. Then… well there’s 7-10 days of that shit.

    Hello Kasey,
I also have been a victim of PMDD. I recently came across a brand called THE GOOD BUG. It’s an Indian brand. It’s basically a gut cleanser and has to be taken on empty stomach every morning.
Surprisingly my PMDD has completely disappeared. Kindly research on how important gut health is and helps in regulating our hormones. Also I feel great and energetic unlike other times of my period.
Hope this helps. Been an admirer of you for almost a decade now. Lots of love from south India.
    Love you

Thank you for speaking about this! I made a post to my FB recently because I just wanted people to know what I deal with every month. But especially this past month was awful hormonally and emotionally. I didn't want to be here anymore. I wanted to swear off all human life. I wanted to hide away on an island because literally all of May was awful. Anything that had a negative impact on me came bubbling up. I remembered being called too sensitive at 8 years old and it made me want to disappear. That memory, among others, made me feel like anything and everything was wrong with me. I cried so, so hard all month. Luckily, being 33 now, I am far more aware and nicer to myself when I'm in those low moments and able to remind myself to keep pushing through and I'm proud of myself. But I still hate that it's even a thing. I finally feel relief this cycle but I'm still exhausted and recuperating from this last bout. 😮‍💨 sending love from a fellow pmdd aquarius girlie 💗

What makes it so hard is that my period does not come on a set date so often I struggle to attach these painful feelings to my period. And then I get my period and it finally syncs in what is/was wrong. This morning is bad and I watched your video and it helps. I wish there was some sort of support group here in Tucson. If you made one or knew of one I would love to go. I finally after about 12 years am in a healthy relationship but I am so worried that my hormonal imbalances will ruin it for me. My sister and I have this, she was a week late and took her life. We always said "be careful with me", to warn each other what's going on. She would get extremely sensitive and I get irritable/agitated, terrible mixture when we would overlap. We got in an argument that day. I was due 2 days later. If she wasn't late we wouldn't have overlapped and she would be alive. Her last words to me were, "You better kill me before I kill myself. Just you wait, you'll be sorry."

I can’t remember if you said you had your tubes tied after your last ? If so that can also be the reason behind pmdd. Please look into it.

Some people believe that premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a way for nature to encourage people to slow down and reflect on their lives. Menstruation can also be considered a spiritual time that allows women to connect with themselves, release negative energy, and start a new phase of self-growth.
