@@YahYah06 please do🫶🫶 I personally recommend look here, rain, and outro: does that make sense!! And a personal favorite, that’s unrelated to this, is rush by RM ft Krizz Kaliko!!
This was released in 2014. RM was 19, almost 20 yrs old, when they released this on their first album Dark and Wild. There was so much growth after this, but he was the shiz even then! All of the vocal line hit the high notes, but Jimin and Jungkook were hitting the high notes you were talking about. These guys didn't just study rap, they studied the culture & honor it.Hip Hop Lover" by BTS is about the idea that people can control their lives through self-knowledge and self-expression, which are core beliefs of hip hop culture.
Actually that second chorus is Jimin and Jin. JK is 1st chorus with V, and adlibs. 3rd chorus is entire vocal line (ordered JK, Jimin, Jin, V by prominence). JK has said that Jin and Jimin have the highest ranges, making BTS' songs difficult to sing.
When you all get to Born Singer, You're not going to be okay. As a hip-hop head that would make my heart hurt and flutter and fly all at the same time.
During their trainee years (time from when the joined the company and to their debut), RM and Suga held a hip-hop school, complete with homework. This was when they were already putting in 15+ hour days learning choreo, voice lessons, going to school, and more. RM and Suga started with the OGs and work their way through. They explained how each artist brought something new. They would teach about beats, rhythm, lyrics, etc. The 'students' were given song lists to listen to, and then come to the next class ready to discuss and analyze. RM reminds us frequently that RAP is Rhythm and Poetry.
The look your kid hit you in the beginning when you started rapping lmao. Such a specific global experience to hit your dad with the look of loving judgment when he starts acting out.
RM and Suga were underground rappers that were actually quite well known in the circle before they went to audition for Bighit Ent. In fact RM was feared by rappers multiple years his senior in freestyle rap battles. Suga has been producing beats and rapping since he was 13. In fact for his audition, he rearranged the beat given to them and rapped on it. That’s how he was selected by Bighit as a producer. Oven if he hadn’t been in BTS as a member, he would’ve been a producer. They really do know rap, they’ve studied and lives and breathed it for years. Fun Fact: RM & Suga grew up in different parts of Korea but Suga had heard of RMs reputation and he wanted to battle with him. He was curious who’s be better of the two of them😂. As for J Hope he came from the street dancing scene, his crew had won a national award. When he joined Bighit Entertainment, RM and Suga taught him about rap, he learned to write, produce and compose in 3 years before their debut. There’s a lot you don’t know about them as a group, their background , their work etc.
That was no girl that was Jimin and he'd kick ya arse not only is a contemporary dancer, a Hip Hop dancer a vocalist he's also a martial arts expert in more than one style he might look cute and sweet but don't mess with Jimin.

Great reaction! You know what, I think dad would really like 'Do You' by RM which is all about being yourself and not being restricted by genres and boundaries. Also if you like alternative music RM had a collab with Fallout Boy years ago, and has quite a lot of music with an alternative kind of sound :)

Yeah, AHL is definitely more for hardcore fans, but there are some great moments there. I feel like it needs a lot of context because the production was messy. A few things - it was 10 years ago and the boys were teenagers, they barely spoke English and didn't always understand what people were saying. They were preparing a comeback at the same time so they would film all day and work all night (using a makeshift recording studio in a garage). People from the show later said on twitter the boys were running on barely a couple hours sleep, and that was confirmed years later on Suchwita. Also the TV channel who organised the show did some cringy-as-hell things like that kidnapping stunt at the beginning, and at the time BTS' company was small enough they would've had no power to control anything like that... it was a huge opportunity to even get on TV, so they likely had to just go along with whatever the show wanted, cringe or not.
Y'all are so cute! If he liked this, he's in for a wild ride! BTS finds you when you need them-enjoy the journey! 300+ songs, many genres, all amazing! BTS are one of the few groups that genuinely love, live and breathe hip hop and rap. They have a mini series where they came to America shortly after debut to be in a hip hop boot camp in LA with singers and rappers - Coolio came and coached them for a bit too. It’s a bit of a controversial show because of some of the engagement and tasks they had but I recommend giving it a try. It’s BTS AMERICAN HUSTLE LIFE
There’s so much to discover with BTS and their solos. If you hit something you don’t like (like your reaction to Ugh) just try another. I laughed a lot cause the way your dad react after the chorus is the way i react alwaaaays to this song and i even know the korean lyrics word for word of the 2nd rap (Hobi's) cause i love it, oh and he has an album "Hope World" too
I'm glad other army already recommended this one cause it's one of my favorite bts songs, and i'm ofc subscribing cause it's always fun seeing non armys reacting to bts songs for the 1st time, oh it's something i can't experience again and i'd love to be able to do that again with some songs like this one 😊

@YahYah06 i know what you are talking about!! When i first heard of them in 2017 i thought the same until i accidentally heard one of their songs and whole album one day cause i couldn't read korean and didn't know it was them, i was surprised by their music 🤣🫂
there is something in your reaction that is so real and genuine, bts is real and i see how u connect to that, i absolutely enjoyed this 🫶🏻 would love to see more reactions of you too, just received a new subscriber
"Ya'll can't know about the acronym." 🤣😭 Keep flowing along on the ride! You'll learn more about ARMY too. RM is a lyrical genius and he got the Rhythm and poetry down in spades! That's why is was known as RAP MONSTER. These boys are seriously next level and you have barely touched the surface of it. Each of the rappers wrote about their origin story and JHOPE equating it to his body moving because his start was through street dancing. All of this song... hits right! Loved your enjoying this!! Finally a 10!!🥺 (15 lol) HipHop Phile is not 5 years old it is was released Aug 20, 2014! 10 years old!! Beat was a bit simple but they were teens. LOL. RM's song Do You is a good one: ruclips.net/video/rN0_2jyOgzg/видео.htmlsi=qIVpvtv_cWjeXBt1 and one of my favorite collabs is Change with Wale like 6 years ago. It's all English but RM's English wasn't as easy to understand back then so I always prefer to recommend this link. Same MV but lyrics with it: ruclips.net/video/97ZQElcBBV8/видео.htmlsi=8rnCUMIU0IXWWZYb Not gonna lie... I kind of want you to hear just one vocal line song for a change of pace and for fun. If you are open to the experience, see what you think of this: The Truth Untold (just the four vocalist). It's a stage mix so it won't get taken down: ruclips.net/video/q9yaP4wZ_tI/видео.htmlsi=SD0MGfDnvee7rycH Also, just want to throw this out there in case no one has told you. If you type in the song you want to hear followed by Eng Subs then you will usually get a good option for a video. If Enjoy BTS More has it, hers are the most accurate subs and she tries to do that for as many live performances as possible. These guys are sooooooo much better live. For this one you would have stumbled upon this: ruclips.net/video/a-KhTTQVLZ0/видео.htmlsi=MLezFE8aSEPVDegD You can watch in your spare time, no need to react since you've done the song now, but it is nice to see them perform live and I think it can add to the value of your BTS journey when you see them live. That said... I LOVE that you used Dial 6137 when you didn't have a video to go to! And I know I mentioned Born Singer in my first response to watching you guys, but I do want to remind you. It is a song they wrote on JCole's Born Sinner beat 11 years back. Cole gave them permission to include it on their anthology album in 2022 after he met JHOPE, who was headlining at Lollapalooza. This version is a fan fave (you will see by the number of views) and it juxtaposes an early performance with one they did a few years later. Just wanted to reshare the link in case you need it. (No need to ever shout me out if you ever use a recommendation) I am just want to help your journey be the best it can be. ruclips.net/video/Z5WLRWMYzEU/видео.htmlsi=yBJRnhbQ3rl2QGh4
Really cool reaction adorable as always! If I'm not mistaken and I might be the two that are singing is a combination of JK and jimin I recommend that you guys react to hip Hop lover live. all army knows with respect that BTS is much better live than in studio
BTS debuted as a HIPHOP IDOL group. 2 members were in underground HIP HOP, and 1 member was hip hop street dance, before signing with Big Hit Entertainment. 4 of the members are vocalists, and they can all hit the high notes. JIMIN is the one with the most unique vocal tone, and his voice is often mistaken for a girls voice. This song was released in 2013. These guys are Hip Hip and R&B at their core. They are amazing lyricists, rappers, and singers. I am going to link you the live version, because it's different live, and I believe so much better. They were amazing on debut in 2013. There is a reason they are the most popular and successful group. Hip Hop Lovers - BTS (Live w/fansubs) - ruclips.net/video/a_3KCRAYAFQ/видео.htmlsi=KKm0KXxjbzh4AKQK
React to J Hope's MV On the Street featuring J Cole. Also Neuron is a good song of J Hope's. The rap line is so good (J Hope, RM and Suga). I think you would like UGH and Cypher 3 (Busan concert) and Outro Tear (live) at Wembley. J Hope will be back from the military on October 17.
They mention Epik High. They are OG Hip Hop rappers. Check out their song Born Hater. It features younger rappers from other groups. B.I. and Bobby from IKON and Mino from winner. It's 🔥
Bobby won a rap competition show called Show Me The Money. Two solo songs are Holup and U Mad. And 2 songs with Mino, collab name MOBB. Their songs are Full House and Hit Me. All 🔥
Listen to “Outro: Tear” live performance. It’s incredible and emotional. Suga of the rap line wrote it when they were thinking of disbanding back on 2018. It’s really amazing!!!💜💜
💜Thanks for your reaction💜 I'm glad you liked it, you guys are very funny! I love the relationship you have, it's very nice to see how you get along with each other😄💜
I'm glad you appreciated this song! I think this song is a great introduction to understanding their inspiration. Thank you for the hug, hugged back💜. I hope that you will stay with BTS for a long time). Next, I would like to recommend the song "born singer", because it is a turning point in the formation of ARMY. Suga was also very inspired to write this song by J-Cole, who made a song with J-Hope called "On the Street" a few years later - I recommend it. I also recommend songs like "Tomorrow", "Come Back Home", "Spine Breaker", "Just One Day", "Jump", "Dis-ease" and many more, but for now it's enough. I can't wait to see your reaction to the live performance, especially at the: "born singer" - ruclips.net/video/Z5WLRWMYzEU/видео.html "Attack on Bangtan" - ruclips.net/video/gP0Vo0U3Yn8/видео.html Thank you for your reaction! And I hope you will have good luck!💜
Also „joke“ and „do you“ of RM, and his collabs with WALE and Lil Nas X He is an lyrical genius.💜 Love your reactions, keep going. Lots of love from Germany ❤
Wuao this is one of my favourite BTS songs ever no need a reaction but for you to enjoy check this song live BTS is always better live and with Armys chants!! 💜
Dad , you making things hard for yourself. Here are my instructions not suggestions. Options, watch a lyric video first then a MV or live performance. Or the reverse. RM mentioned KRS-1. I don’t think any current rappers who think they are the sht don’t know about OG KRS-1. RM knew the definition of the acronym RAP. RM’s favorite is NAS. Watch a live performance. J-Hope paid homage to Old Dirty Bastard when he headlined Lollapalooza July 31 2022.
They are great, we are planning on starting a thing where we react to live performances on a live stream, that way people can send in requests and stuff. We will definitely react to at least one live performance in a video though 👍🏽💜💜💜💜💜
Born Singer live will make you cry. It is similar to Hip Hop Lover, because each rapper does a verse with the vocal line doing the chorus. It is a remake of J Cole's Born Sinner. ruclips.net/video/8cUQ3lF3_O8/видео.html J.Cole is an icon to them, especially J. Hope who picked that name because of him. He also collaborated with J. Cole on "On the Street" right before he left for mandatory military service to tell ARMY goodbye. That's worth watching too. ruclips.net/video/r6WbbU_lLCA/видео.html Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
you know why you thought it was a woman singing? because bts music is like the reincarnation of the classic male rapper and female r&b singer collabs of the 90s, 2000s, etc as well as bts singers just having beautiful voices. but this is their main I guess box or lane or core etc when people call bts a pop group I get annoyed because they do it all and can't be boxed in but if you were to put them in a box it's hip hop and r&b that's constant and consistent from 2013 to 2024 their consistent genres have always been hip hop and r&b. pop is there but it's not the majority at all. they never been a pop group they're a group that does it all. but I wish they'd be put in the box they belong if people have to box them in because they have no concept of a artist with no barriers then it should be the correct box at least. they never been backstreet boys or one direction they all listened to the artists named as well as r&b legends like usher and neyo and a few key pop legends like MJ for example or Bruno mars etc but mostly rappers.
Love you guys but I WISH you can make the background video more visible. Even though I KNOW the songs and most of the lyrics by heart I really like reading along 😅

I'm so glad you enjoyed 🥰😁💜💜💜💜💜
you 2 are a nice combo .keep it coming .BTS ARMY is gathering

Love your journey! BTS was my intro to rap. 62yr old Army 😅
Here for our guys BTS 💜♾️💟💜🔥✌️🇮🇪
😂😮 AFTER THIS BEAUTIFUL REACTION, IM GONNA SUPPORT & SUBSCRIBE 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🪖🇺🇸🫶🤟🫰
I love your reactions and your dad is so funny I love it.
Es una de mis favoritas. Hip Hop Lover!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That was Jungkook and then Jimin lol they guys for sure
LOL.
RM's song Do You is a good one: ruclips.net/video/rN0_2jyOgzg/видео.htmlsi=qIVpvtv_cWjeXBt1
and one of my favorite collabs is Change with Wale like 6 years ago. It's all English but RM's English wasn't as easy to understand back then so I always prefer to recommend this link. Same MV but lyrics with it: ruclips.net/video/97ZQElcBBV8/видео.htmlsi=8rnCUMIU0IXWWZYb
Not gonna lie... I kind of want you to hear just one vocal line song for a change of pace and for fun. If you are open to the experience, see what you think of this: The Truth Untold (just the four vocalist). It's a stage mix so it won't get taken down: ruclips.net/video/q9yaP4wZ_tI/видео.htmlsi=SD0MGfDnvee7rycH
Also, just want to throw this out there in case no one has told you.
It would fun to see ya'll reacting to bts out of music as well.. Like that interview - how well bts know each other. The bts doc by Taylor
Happy to see you enjoy the music.
You guys gotta check out bts Cypher pt 2 it's fire an super insane I love it.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰
Really cool reaction adorable as always! If I'm not mistaken and I might be the two that are singing is a combination of JK and jimin I recommend that you guys react to hip Hop lover live. all army knows with respect that BTS is much better live than in studio
Trust me, BTS ARMY knows what RAP stands for.
Live version pleeeaaassseeeeeee

You can watch our reaction to Ugh and the explained by DKDKTV on the channel 🫡
Thank you for the recommendations
"If loving this culture was a sin, I would have died hundreds of times"
They mention Epik High. They are OG Hip Hop rappers. Check out their song Born Hater. It features younger rappers from other groups. B.I. and Bobby from IKON and Mino from winner. It's 🔥
Definitely will check it out 🫡🥰😁
Bobby won a rap competition show called Show Me The Money. Two solo songs are Holup and U Mad. And 2 songs with Mino, collab name MOBB. Their songs are Full House and Hit Me. All 🔥
@@lenellscheeler9355 Im vaguely familiar with IKON so this is great information 🥰😁👍🏽
Nas is the G.O.A.T.! Pretty sure Suga is a huge fan.

this video deserves more views!
Listen to “Outro: Tear” live performance. It’s incredible and emotional. Suga of the rap line wrote it when they were thinking of disbanding back on 2018. It’s really amazing!!!💜💜
Love ur dad’s reaction!!🤩🤩
💜Thanks for your reaction💜 I'm glad you liked it, you guys are very funny! I love the relationship you have, it's very nice to see how you get along with each other😄💜
Thank you for reacting to this song.
I can't wait to see your reaction to the live performance, especially at the:

Thank you for your reaction! And I hope you will have good luck!💜
Also „joke“ and „do you“ of RM, and his collabs with WALE and Lil Nas X
He is an lyrical genius.💜
Love your reactions, keep going. Lots of love from Germany ❤
this song is smooth
Very much so, it's such a vibe and they have only improved from their other songs we've heard 😄
please react to RM “moster”
Wuao this is one of my favourite BTS songs ever no need a reaction but for you to enjoy check this song live BTS is always better live and with Armys chants!! 💜
The ones singing the chorus are Jungkook jimin V and jin thats what I told you to check it live
Your next reaction should be WE ON. Your dad's head may pop off!
BTS roots are in R&B and hip hop.💜
Hahaha, I loved thisss!💜💜💜💜
@@urix908 I'm so glad 💜💜💜💜
I LOVE y'all!! I agree with previous comments that you should watch this live.
As per your dad reaction here you have three songs he is going to love but go for live stage reactions House of Cards The truth untold and singularity
You did Born Singer already ? I recommend the live version
DAD? I THOUGHT IT'S YOUR BROTHER, damn I feel old...
I really love hopes part❤same with the others
Yo con esta cancion me torne army🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dad , you making things hard for yourself. Here are my instructions not suggestions. Options, watch a lyric video first then a MV or live performance. Or the reverse. RM mentioned KRS-1. I don’t think any current rappers who think they are the sht don’t know about OG KRS-1. RM knew the definition of the acronym RAP. RM’s favorite is NAS. Watch a live performance.
J-Hope paid homage to Old Dirty Bastard when he headlined Lollapalooza July 31 2022.
I love that you're using good lyric videos! Could you maybe make your picture a little smaller so we can also read the lyrics? Thanks!
As a recomendation the Songs born singer, tommmorow and we on are hip hop Songs from bts too
💜If you react to CIPHERS, please PLEASE watch the live midley too! The energy is insane !🔥💜
My childhood was people calling me weird and my mother complaining about my “Hillbilly “ music!😂🤘🏾 You’re not alone!💜
@@singularityjackson oh dear 😅, I hope you are able to enjoy your music now 🥰😁
@@YahYah06 Most definitely 🤣 Idgad anymore!!
13:57 yeah that's a dude 😂 his name is jimin ( he has the highest voice in not just bts but kpop between males lol )
BTS consists of 7 men, 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. You need to watch them perform this live so you can see that it’s all 7 males singing this song! :)
They are great, we are planning on starting a thing where we react to live performances on a live stream, that way people can send in requests and stuff. We will definitely react to at least one live performance in a video though 👍🏽💜💜💜💜💜
I LOVE YOUR REACTION GUYS😭
Born Singer live will make you cry. It is similar to Hip Hop Lover, because each rapper does a verse with the vocal line doing the chorus. It is a remake of J Cole's Born Sinner. ruclips.net/video/8cUQ3lF3_O8/видео.html
J.Cole is an icon to them, especially J. Hope who picked that name because of him. He also collaborated with J. Cole on "On the Street" right before he left for mandatory military service to tell ARMY goodbye. That's worth watching too. ruclips.net/video/r6WbbU_lLCA/видео.html
Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Listen to BTS's Born Singer!!!!
You should check a live performance of this then you can see who is singing what
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
Ya. When it comes to rap BTS don't play
you know why you thought it was a woman singing? because bts music is like the reincarnation of the classic male rapper and female r&b singer collabs of the 90s, 2000s, etc as well as bts singers just having beautiful voices.
but this is their main I guess box or lane or core etc when people call bts a pop group I get annoyed because they do it all and can't be boxed in but if you were to put them in a box it's hip hop and r&b that's constant and consistent from 2013 to 2024 their consistent genres have always been hip hop and r&b. pop is there but it's not the majority at all.
they never been a pop group they're a group that does it all. but I wish they'd be put in the box they belong if people have to box them in because they have no concept of a artist with no barriers then it should be the correct box at least.
they never been backstreet boys or one direction they all listened to the artists named as well as r&b legends like usher and neyo and a few key pop legends like MJ for example or Bruno mars etc but mostly rappers.
I hate it when they are called boy band and kpop. They aren’t!
Love you guys but I WISH you can make the background video more visible. Even though I KNOW the songs and most of the lyrics by heart I really like reading along 😅
@@zrj7 thank you for watching, after the next 3-4 videos (they were recorded previously) , the format will be changed for better viewing. 🫡😄
That is Jimin or Jungkook that had the hi girly voice
