Love these basses. I have a studio 6 and just ordered a studio 5, I owned a 5 years ago and sadly sold it. I've done quite a few gigs with the six too, always cuts beautifully through the mix, and its always so fat live! I've owned so many basses over the years and imo for a lower budget bass its right up there with some of the most expensive. Your demo gives a great example of the instrument.
I dont get it why spectre doesnt produce this Bass with Fanned Frets. There is a Version somewhere with FF but its not the black... Getting the Bass you want with Fanned Frets is really a sturggle
I like the way it sounds both PU and flat. Sounds perfect. How's the B string? Is it flabby at all or mice and tight? Sounds really good. Have you tried the fan fretted? I'm asking cos' this bass is on my short list. Thx.
It's not the bass. It's the player. He could play a really inexpensive instrument and make it sound great! Stop being fooled by all these different bass manufacturers. Thousands of hit songs were played on a pbass or a jbass. Stop drinking the kool-aid

I almost bought this bass, but i thought the pickups weren't bright enough. I opted for the SLS Elite with the Fishman Fluance pickups instead. :)
