Great job. How do viewers send you stuff though? I have a bunch of old tools my grandfather owned that could be restored. My dad has a collection of knives that he found after a hurricane flooded a house near us. Never found the owners sadly.
Great restoration! You did a wonderful job. My only concern is that it appears that you sanded out the beautiful, wide mild fuller on the blade as you were sanding out the imperfections. I wouldn't have made the decision to blue the edges but I don't hate it. Overall I loved the project, the outcome, and the video!
Good morning! It’s so amazing that you worked on Master Sword 🗡️ From rusty to beauty sword 🗡️ You’re very intelligent and best Sword 🗡️ Maker! I’m sure viewers are so impressive of you! See ya next amazing project 😊
Why bother 'restoring' that piece of garbage? Its a cheap wall hanger 'replica' that has very little in common with the actual sword, or any actual sword for that matter.... Its literally tourist shop garbage, not worth the time spent on it. Would have been easier to just recycle the thing and make it into something actually useful.
Nice work but the only thing that bugs me is that this sword is based on a 16th century Spanish/Portugees sword and NOT on a 11th century sword. The time that El Cid lived was the 11th century
we all know this somebody's ren fair prop. It does look like the one in the Museo de Burgos, which seems to have an 11th century blade and a 15th century hilt. Provenance is disputed.
Decorative fantasy sword. El Cid would be very surprised by such a sword. :-)
Yeah, you'd be in big trouble fast if you ever tried to use that thing in anger.

Beautiful restoration! I love your videos.
This is awesome! You did an excellent job restoring it!
look like something a tourist forgot in his hotel room.
😂😂😂😂
I really enjoyed this restoration! By the way, are you wearing... Jams? Nice throwback, sir!
Beautiful job, looks great!
Those and other styles were sold in the back of magazines like Popular Mechanics. They were made in Pakistan.
All ready to go chop chop again.
its sword of Fernado Poe jr pantay
The darkened edges have ruined the whole effort.
I am Atomic.
Boo there was no sandblasting
LA ESPADA DEL CID SE ENCUENTRA EN BURGOS EN EL MUSEO ESPAÑA
I actually have this exact type of sword. It’s just decorative. The blade is mild steel and the cast pommel is pretty delicate.
I have one like it as well

It's not El Cid sword type from 11 secule. It's something weird and cheap imitation 😮😮

Very nice cleanup! Someone at one time must have treasured this piece. It was not in a severely stressed state. But now it is a show piece again.
Wall ornament can tell by the tang is just all thread welded to a stamped blade
Tourist´s sword. Bad quality
I thank you for the opening introduction. I doubt most would have heard of El Cid otherwise.😢
It's a cheap decorator sword. I had one.

Such a beautiful restoration 👍👍
You can already tell that this sword won't cut anything... 😒
This is a decorative sword
Didn't like the blackened edges.
What did you use to plate the Tizona onto the blade please?''
You need a sisal buffer and some black emory compound

Rat tale
Nice refurb on an old wall hanger.
Fingers looks so CLEAN
Worst restoration as I see it.
I loved it!
👍👍👍
Looks great
first, all rust is surface rust, second, its a cheap replica, almost like a toy sword and 3rd its not old; but... you did a good job.
Really? " El Cid’s Medieval Sword"? 🤨
Now it can go back into the museum. 😄
Nice work but the only thing that bugs me is that this sword is based on a 16th century Spanish/Portugees sword and NOT on a 11th century sword. The time that El Cid lived was the 11th century
the only thing that bugs me

I own an identical sword only mine has been through 2 fires.
one fire is a misfortune, two seems like negligence : )
@@JohnSmith-ki2eq one fire was before I owned it, the second was after.
Dope AF results, Lost & Restored! Now it needs an equally dope sheath/scabbard to complete the package!
Looks amazing, awesome what you can do with time, effort and the right tools.
First! pin?
and first stupid and childish..
lol 😅
Why did you blue the edges? Surely the cutting edges should be kept bright steel?
A beautiful restoration job indeed. That sword looks much better than before. Excellent work.
Beautiful work!
