- After all the fighting and the International Space Station scene, one of the Rangers will remove the steel girders in front of the helicopter allowing the player to exit it. After that, a large number of aircraft begin falling from the sky. Run with your squadmates to find cover, and stay away from the vehicles because they blow up as well. After a while, the debris of planes and helicopters stops falling.
Follow the soldiers. Inside the bar, there's an Ammo Crate (which the player needs because he/she has no ammo). Note that the Holographic Sight is not working (due to the EMP); it is suggested to swap it with a weapon that does not feature the Holographic/Red Dot Sight. The player sees a soldier running, telling fellow soldiers to go to Whiskey Hotel (the White House) because the Rangers are regrouping there to retake it.
The player will reach an office filled with Russians. Shoot them down and move on. The player will reach outside where it appears to be raining. Three enemies are on top of a vehicle arguing. Take them by surprise. Up ahead, the player will see some people running to a bus, unknown if they're hostile or not. Foley throws one of the flares on the ground, and it reveals the targets are hostile. Eliminate all targets in the vicinity.
After removing all threats, move up. and take point. The player discovers the President's "secret bunker", and then the mission ends.

@@screwmyluckladydianav9600 well, technically it doesn't function correctly at least in multiplayer, but in real life in ACOG is analog. It's one of the many reasons why I love scopes like that.

The best Call of Duty to ever be created, this game created so many different memories for everyone and for us it was Trickshotting and Sniping. Now we have SM2 on the way which will be a brand new experience and still be able to relive all those memories we love but we also want and command Modern Warfare 2 Multi-Player Remastered!

@@ShadowSpace56z the EMP has fried the iron sight Optic Red Dot Holographic and ACOG sight the only weapons are use to aim is the old iron sight not some attachment scope

Guys, this is a great game and the rest of the Modern Warfare series and COD in general but why do I get the feeling that this may be revelant regarding the current situation right now... I think something is up here... It doesn't sit right with me actually
Electromagnetic pulse. It's a side effect of detonating a nuclear warhead. It shoots out a pulse that disrupts and destroys all electronic devices that aren't specifically protected against it, to the point where you literally need to replace every single piece of electronics to fix the issue

Sorry for being late but thats false, without there being gravity or air resistance, the nuke would keep going at full speed until hitting the iss thus completely destroying it most likely worse than with gravity
@@Parrskey77 th-... that's not how that works. most of the shockwave that's caused by an explosion is the air being rapidly displaced from the epicenter of the explosion. you're right that objects flying through space don't loose their velocity until they make contact with something, but there's nothing in between the explosion and the satellite to gain velocity. thus, no shockwave

The idea goes that EMP electromagnetic pulse will knock out the electronics however A lot of this is actually misunderstanding smaller electronics would be less affected I'm not saying it wouldn't be just that when you look at studies done in test chambers Small devices like phones and laptop survive just fine but usually larger objects like the power grid anything that's attached to relay stations is going to have a bad day basically The electromagnetic pulse sends out waves of energy which overcharge the system that they touch I guess it's like hooking up jumper cables to everywhere it once 😆 this is just a dumb-down version The reason smaller tech is not as affected because it has smaller wiring which just doesn't have the ability to contract the energy also most phones are shielded with aluminum plating any conductive surface would give someone a protection before somebody disagrees on me lol I actually recently looked up this subject with lots of different videos and online sources I would encourage you to look up EMP test chambers to see what I'm saying
I also don't mind giving references but a really good reference to how damaging this would be to the grid you should read the first part of the address in Congress in 2015 where they address the dangers of something like this and talk about how absolutely devastating it would be to the country mainly that a lot of our larger substations that regulate power have specialized pieces of equipment these substations would absolutely be blown to pieces and they are custom made The estimates were that it would take anywhere for 4 to 10 years to fully repair the grid basically bye-bye USA
