It really shows it’s a dance between lights and darks, and the fact that you need to go back and forth, back and forth to adjust your highlights, and shadows and everything in-between for the final piece! ❤

Thank you for the kind comments, I did wait for the inspiration, then worked when it arrived. When it wouldn’t come, I sat and just looked and waited. I tried new things too. That’s what made it fun, what made it hard was when I couldn’t see what to do next. Covering parts of the paper helped.

I enjoyed the whole process, and I appreciate hearing your thoughts. Only question is, don't dragonflies have antennae?
Good point! I have not seen them present in visuals I paint, so I looked it up. They have very small ones because their vision is their main sensory info provider, those big compound eyes. So since I did not see them present, I didn’t paint them.
