😃 About me - I am a painter, an artist, a seeker. I have been painting professionally for over forty years, teaching children and adults. I paint whatever subject intrigues me with no self-limits. I try whatever approaches and materials I can imagine. Creating is a compulsion for me and brings me joy, fun and fulfillment. Bringing art ideas and successes also makes me happy, hope I can bring some ideas to you.

Thank you much for the comment Marjatta
i might have missed it, but are you working wet on dry? soppy wet in places on dry?
There are both approaches in mine. The background is very wet, some sections of petals are too. I love the color flow you can get with wet on wet, even layered upon. But the areas I needed to control were mostly dry.
Soppy wet on dry, sure! Kept the flow of colors available.
You may have missed that this was an experimental piece, and I was trying new things to learn and stretch.
