her tagalog streams are actually so fun to watch i hope others enjoyed it the same way as us TAG speakers do, I wish millie or someone behind niji should allow her to just directly have subs on stream VOD like idk a week or two after the VOD is up we could have eng subs ready
If I'm not mistaken, there is a setting that allows people to add subtitles to a video. or if you're in millie's membership, you can suggest this to her.

2:49 LMAO Whenever the class finds out about a teacher's mistakes in the quiz, the whole classroom will chant "Bonus! Bonus!" and if the teacher is cool with it, we'll get it. Oh highschool...
I wish Millie is our classmate, imagine how many tests we would pass because she contested everything xD Millie is right, long sentences are usually the correct choice in multiple choice 🤣🤣
Ngl this is true here in the Philippines, we make our teacher questions his/her test and all 52 of us classmates would haggle and prove our point while the teachers also counter our argument and this goes back and forth all for that sweet 0.5 points. I love those teachers since they really know how to vibe with us students and our weird antics.

1:58 OF COURSE they asked the "powerhouse of the cell" question. the most pointless knowledge ever that every school teaches for no goddamn reason lmao
Millie answering all geography questions: "The world". Where is Mount Everest? The world. Where is the longest river? The world. And so on. 0.5 for each.
Reminds me of the times where the teacher announces mid test that a question is bonus and everyone gleefully cheers (To those unaware, bonus questions are when there is a mistake in the question or the answers itself, so sometimes we get a free point for that but more often than not we just have to rewrite some stuff) Also some answers Millie answered are spelled wrong or incomplete and teachers really love the "wrong spelling, wrong" rule or the "full correct name" rule
There are those who end up passing due to multiple discrepancies with the questions, and those who fail due to the smart/sociable kids who argue about the answers. And then there's me who fails either way.
Oh my gosh I do sometimes bargain with my test scores back in college and I use that exact 'mam/ser!' tone OQJWKESJJDJDSJJSJSSJS And then we all cheer when the professor said it would be a BONUS 😋✋🏻
Ahh, forgetting to study (or not studying at all) for an exam and managing to scrape a passing score by contesting test answers. One of the cornerstones of the typical Filipino highschool experience.
The fact that the test was so finicky is why school was bullsh*t for me. "Oh your answer is right, but, this other one fits better, therefore your answer is wrong."
i just recently started watching clips of this woman and you know i just realized hear me out, im very much not into vtubers at all but why does her laugh sound like pekora sometimes like is this the filipino version of pekora now
Oh her laugh used to sound exactly like Pekora back before she became Millie Parfait. It changed gradually over time and became her iconic witch laughas she became Millie Parfait.
The thing is Millie is right for the most part in that those type of test are filled in the blank from a certain data bank and no actual basis to conventional wisdom/knowledge. Like bro who takes those classes with subjective answers, someone who needs to telepathic know someone else’s thoughts? Like answering dos from a simple arithmetic 1+1 and get that wrong because 2 is the acceptable answer. This really triggered me because it really happens with teachers specially in the Philippines because they are nit-picky , like “uh you misspelled the name”, betch you just don’t care and mindlessly checked the data bank answers. No one:
Millie: Ma'am/ Sir, I've come to bargain.

Ah, yes, the classic Filipino "Ma'am/ Sir." The ultimate title.
Miss the days when I was on High School days.
Now I just miss Face to Face classes because of this.
btw .05 and .5 are different! lol i think it should be 0.5 on the subs because that's 50% in percentage, which is what millie meant

what i feel like is the rule in the point considerations:
0.5
- when the answer is close enough that it is still technically right (like missing a word or two) but the teacher is still looking for the right answer
- when the answer was wrong, but was able to justify it
- when it could have been a bonus point, but rather than getting nothing, 0.5 is a good start in starting negotiations
Bonus
- when the question was not part of past discussions or was not indicated in textbooks given
- when there were actually other reasonable answers and the teacher won't be bother to list all of those possible answers
- when the question was too confusing that even the teacher starts to question the questions
- when the answers are not in the choices (if it's a multiple choice question) or the term/s used were wrong
