Tree Talks with Theo: Bigleaf Maple

Theodore Hoss loves trees and teaching people about them and their wondrous ways. In "Tree Talks with Theo" - a 2022 video series for the Mountain School @Home initiative - he introduces people of all ages to forest ecology and a few important species from the crest of the North Cascades range. For his senior project he overhauled the Historic Brockman Memorial Tree Tour. Theo has worked as a wilderness instructor, spent 3 summers working in Yosemite National Park and is now a Mountain School instructor for North Cascades Institute.
