NOTE: As much as you would like to tell me I've got the name of the song wrong, please refrain from doing so. I, and many others, have already answered these queries countless times. This is the version that came out before the album, so it is, in fact, NOT At The Bottom Of Everything. Hence, the subtle differences in the song and why Craig Kilborn introduces it as Sing, Sing, Sing. If you're still confused, please refer to the comments left by helpful spectators.

I feel like At The Bottom Of Everything and Sing, Sing, Sing can be completely different songs.

I didn't even realize that was M. Ward until I saw the guy burning through his guitar with that fingerpicking. I thought to myself, "Well, there's only one guy that can play guitar like that."

Whether you agree with Conor's statements in this or not, at least he has the balls to stand up for what he believes in and use his celebrity to try and evoke change.This is a kickass song (which is obviously different from At the Bottom) and Conor is kickass, the end. Oh, and M. WARD FOR PRESIDENT.

yes, and as said 20000 times before. Bright Eyes called it "Sing, Sing, Sing" when they played this version. So the song's called Sing sing sing here, I think everybody understands it's the same song.

@villasixx It is. This was during the Lifted era, earlier than Wide It's Morning, so Sing, Sing, Sing was probably an early song title.
haha I know. I love Conor. I was so psyched when they played At the Bottom of Everything. Also the soul singer in a session band. I loved how they were wearing business suits, or that's what it looked like at least. I was pretty high up in the balcony, haha.

it is called that but this is probably from before that album was released so they ended up changing the name

the main guy in the band, conor oberst(the singer), while he doesnt have the best voice, has insane lyrics to make up for it. He IS the best lyricist so far in the 21st century. 2nd, its amazing what he can make up with just an acoustic guitar.
He is a brilliant musician and so are his bandmates. I'd like to see you make songs as well as conor does.

I think it's because this was before the album containing the song was released, so there wasn't a real title for the song... I think ... :)

Yeah me too! I was was...holy fuck...it's a Bright Eyes song! And yeah this concert has made me start liking music by M.Ward and Jim James. Bermuda Highway was actually my favorite song that Jim James did. I tried to memorize the lyrics during the concert so I could look it up later, haha. I loved the thing he did with his guitar. Did he knock on it or something?
He changed the name, and some lyrics when it was put on im wide awake.

God damn Conor Oberst is the fucking man. The lyrics of his songs are amazing, I grew up on this shit from 13 to now (23). He has been making amazing music since he was 13 (check out his Water album or Here's to Special Treatment, especially the songs Space Invaders and Lava Monster I think they have them on RUclips) yet when he kinda sounds like he is 7, his lyrics are still great. Some compare him to Dylan, I'd say they are not far off.
