I was 32 in '78. Best time of my life ! The young foolish side of me was gone and the adult man was in charge. Everything was coming together. New job, new love that lasted for 40 years. Don't regret one minute ! Thanks for the flashback !
I was 28 in 1978, giving birth to my daughter. I remember dancing to this song & nearly falling when I tried to do a dip shimmy with a guy in the club. Way too much belly to think I could sashay. Fun memory though
SEVENTEEN IN 78 ! WHAT A TIME IT WAS !!! THE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC ECHOED THE GREAT PEOPLE OF THE ERA !!! MANY ARE GONE BUT THE MEMORIES WILL LIVE ETERNALLY !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was 4 years old in 78!!My parents were a huge influence on my music 🎵 today!!! But absolutely LOVE ❤this song!! I'm 49 today!! 😊The 70s made some beautiful music 🎵🎵🎵❤❤ Most music today is crap!!! 🫤
What a Time to have grown up to this song. I was 13. just me minding my own. A Vietnamese family moved into the neighborhood and we all embraced them. I remember the first time I saw "Natalie" Voung. She and I were the same age, and I thought she was the prettiest girl I had ever set my eyes on. The first date we had this was playing on the car radio while our parents drive all of us to a local restaurant. She and I held hands in the backseat of the car. Unbeknownst to them. I remember her fondly. But I remember her through this song that came over the radio in the car. I wish I could return to then and tell her that I loved her.
So very true. Have you heard another passionate song by them called, "You Thrill Me?" Look it up on RUclips. They have it. This song is the best though.👍
@Jingle Nuts Thank you for your comment. I had all their albums back in the '80's, as I was a young teenager. I wish I still had them. And I had their cassettes too. You can still find cassettes at thrift stores and garage sales. But, if you find any of Exile, they will be pricey. I've seen some cassettes from '80's artists for $10.00 at an Exchange Shop by me.
I I was a punk rocker and used to be embarrassed that I really loved this song. 40 some odd years later I don’t give a shit who knows! Thanks for posting!
Thank you Disco Cat for extending "Kiss You All Over" and making it sound like Exile went back into the studio and made this longer jam. James P. Pennington ought to check out this superb mix. He would enjoy it. I sure do. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Gracias por continuar con este disco y parecer q estuvieran presentes con este disco que alegria sentir como si estuvieran con nosotros Graciàs Que alegriaaaa
This song's been crying in agony for a remix for decades, because it's THE PERFECT SLEAZE TRACK to be played at 5 AM at that Saint At Large party in your mind.
@@DJDiscoCat I was too young for that whole scene, but if I could go back in time (after knocking off Hitler and magically preventing the existence of AIDS),, I'd love to experience what it was like at The Loft, The Garage, The Saint, The Gallery...
Yeah, surprised it never got a proper 12" release with at least an extended mix. I tried to get the stems awhile back, bc I thought it needed a dub version. Never happened, but yeah I always thought it worked well in a club....it was just too short. Larry played a reel edit of it a few times @ the Garage, but I'd never heard it, or any other version since. I guess Exile going the country music direction after Jimmy Stokely left the band - kept them kind of isolated from anything related to the clubs. Too bad they didn't do a few more jams like this....Jimmy def had the sleaze rock thing down.
Thanks for a great mix/edit to a cleverly crafted song, the synth strings are old school analog with a flanger effect, i had one 70's/80's miss that old gear
...I was 13 years old then. Part of a certain group of music I'd hear from the radio or blasted by the restaurant at the beach where I'd go swimming in summer. Yet it's toward the end of the time of freer love, expression and such that started in 60's. Also around the time of my first crush. Always thought I needed to have been born 5-10 years earlier. The thought of all that societal progress and where it's all at today sometimes really makes me a bit depressed. Awesome mix tho.
I was 16 in '78.Sweet years for a twin nearly going start dancing to the disco.80's for ever.I didn,t know this song but i like it much.!We living in a sad, pandemic, and cruel 20's .🥵🙄😥
I was almost 12 yrs old when this song came out and I can still remember where I was and who I was with when I heard it for the first time. I had a "boyfriend" at the time that was in my class and I thought I was so mature and grown up about it, that it was never gonna end...the whole nine yards of an "adult relationship" when in fact it was just all puppy love (lol). Hey, I had the whole I'm almost a teenager mentality thing going on then, what did I really know about adult relationships (LoL). Now that I am an adult (just turned 57), been married twice, divorced from the first marriage and my 2nd husband of 21 yrs just recently passed away, I wish I still had that 12 yr old's innocents again.

I need to be in Roseland Ballroom with Michael Fierman at the helm. He for sure rocked this in his sleaze morning sets.
