Seriously you guys, this is THE greatest love story on television and I've watched enough TV in my life to know. P/O has everything: fated childhood meeting, destinies predating their birth, and the wackiest obstacles of non-soap persuasion, all of this while being star-crossed lovers and work partners. Seriously, she practically became Peter's wife the moment Walter started talking condoms! This is the more EPIC pair ever!!!
Um. Josh does an amazing job playing the part of Peter. I don't think we even know half of the Peter's story, personally. He provides the comic relief in the midst of all the seriousness. He is warm and gentle as Peter and anybody who thinks he is inadequate obviously is missing his character development and must also not watch the show very often.
Always thought this scene (especially the ending) shows the unique genius of Fringe. Any other show would have had that cliffhanger at the END of the season finale. But this wasn't even the season finale: it was the penultimate episode of the season. The season finale was completely different.
I LOOOVED this scene.... But I Totally agree with you that it would be SO much better if Peter had said it back... Did you notice that Peter remembers the white tulip field( 1:38 ) where he was with Olivia when they were young??? Do you think it has something to do with his amnesia??? Sry for my english i'm from germany...
GREAT scene!!! Peter should've said it back though, he went the cool route though. I guess we find out in the next episode why we "don't trust Sam Wiess"?
