- Gayle from BERNINA of Naperville presents our first Serger (overlocker) Club. This tutorial is free, but if you want the presentation deck with interactive links and detailed instructions Buy it HERE: www.berninaofn...
In this tutorial you will learn how to create a rolled hem, use it with with various threads and create three types of rolled hem seams:
French Seam Substitution
Decorative Flat Seam
Spanish Hem Seam
Gayle also uses a BERNINA Sewing machine to join the rolled edges. You will want to take special note of how she creates the open-work seam using the Spanish Hemstitch attachment.
Thank you for this video club for us outta towners. Brings back lots of memories! Maybe a virtual Bernina club to come?
Thank you! The video was very helpful!😊
Thank you. Great video!
Now I know why I have the L890
Great tutorial and good camera work! Thank you!
Wonderful!
When you are setting your tension, is there a reason the numbers you are saying don’t match those on screen? Are you lining up the tension number to the black dot? Thanks for this tutorial. I always learn a lot from you 😉
Lining up to the black dot, but the tension setting footage was just showing how to adjust the tension. What I am saying are the right adjustments for the thread I was using.
@@BERNINAofNaperville thank you 😊
Hi Gayle, such fun tutorial! Thank you! Do we use the same link for the tutorial handout? Seemed to take us to the in person class? But maybe I clicked on the wrong link.
@@ks8115 yes. If you purchase the in person class, you will receive the presentation deck via an autogenerated email.
