    That would be perfect for gravel, CX and mountain bikes where the right pressure is harder to gauge by squeezing the tyre.

    Are those tires Contact Urbans? I was wondering if there was a specific preference over Marathons or marathon pluses? Also, any issues with punctures? The stock racers on my S6L would puncture every two to four weeks for my old daily commute between Queens and UES but my Marathon Plus only punctured once twice a year. If the contacts are lighter without a lot of puncture, I'll have to switch. Also, great review! Looks like my wallet's gonna get a litter lighter 😅

      the contact urbans are wonderful, look for other videos on them. they are almost as puncture resistant as the marathon but far lighter and with lower rolling resistance.. you can also take them off the rim without a tire lever easily.

      I have had good luck with the Urbans. I use to get flats all the time with the Marathons too. Try them once your current tires wear out.

    I'm surprised you ride your Brompton at 100psi. I most likely weigh more than you (160lbs) and I usually ride at 65~85psi (depending on road surface). Even on my road bikes, I usually ride 85~90psi front and 90~95psi rear.

      Shu rides in New York city which has lots of pot holes, edges, etc., so he needs the 100 psi. Brompton Junction of New York city recommends 100 psi.

    I bought a pump from A.E. in China, and it pumped my wheel up to the needed pressure and then stopped, being unable to function any more! So I ordered one new type which I'm waiting for to arrive, of a hopefully better quality! Finn. Denmark

      What brand is the one from Denmark?

      @@ERIN478 I have ordered a new one, another Brand electric pump, from China, hopefully with a better function? At home I have a large hand-pump being fixed by my feet during pumping, but I can't bring it during travels, as it fills a lot. The electric pump is for use during travels as my bike needs a high pressure to function, on its small, and rather ineffective wheels. A Brompton isn't really intended as a bike, but for being transported as folded, when not needed for riding! And it is a lousy bike! Finn

      @@ERIN478 It is an inexpensive pump, actually just scrap, and if I had taken my time to read the verdicts from customers below, I wouldn't have bought it! It has a lamp and I then drained it fully and then tried charging it again, to see if it functioned then, but no, it still didn't function after that one glorious time!!

    I need one, can you use the extension hose on all thier pumps🥸

    • @BromptonFamilyTime
      @BromptonFamilyTime  7 месяцев назад +6

      The connection seems to be universal so you should be able to screw them onto many pumps. If you have a certain pump, you can email them and ask them to be sure.
