The hood is perfect! It's just enough but not too much can't wait to see it finished. When I see the love you have for your truck it reminds me of my 95 f150 short bed 5.0 XLT that I was lucky enough to own. Unfortunately I had an accident and it was totalled. I owned it for eight years and I enjoyed every single second I had it. Keep doing what you're doing much love and respect to you and your family!. God bless!

Not that is not a crease it’s just dirty I haven’t cleaned it lol it’s from the foam where it rubbed on it

Are you going to paint it with spray paint if you do could you show the process of all the sanding because I also want to paint my obs and a tutorial would be helpful
If people would watch a sanding and prep only video I would do one but this one isn’t gonna be so cut and dry. It has to have A LOT of prep work but this will not be spray painted for typical paint. It’s going to be primer out of spray can but it won’t be smoothed perfect like I would with spray can job because Bedliner it can have a rough primer because Bedliner is thicker and covers stuff. This wouldn’t be a good demonstration of sanding and prepping for smooth perfect flawless looking shiny paint due to my plans of Bedliner.
How long did it take to arrive after placing order ?
I know you mentioned the hood latch opening fine now. My "trick" to fix the hood opening was power washing the mechanism to clear it of any grime/debris and then some lube and the issue went away. Another tip i picked up along rhe way was "slamming" the hood close cause pushing down on the hood caused some dips on the nose of the hood.
Yes that’s what I did I pressure washed it and then changed the hood because previous hood prior to junkyard one was bent up bad so probably the only real reason it did that lol
Is your truck 4x4 ?
It’s not your fender, I’ve had this problem with three different cowl hoods
It had that gap with the stock hood but I never tried to adjust it I’m willing to bet I can adjust it and get it fixed because no issues other than that but ima replace fender then gonna try adjusting it all
