Great insight, Bjorn! I wholeheartedly agree, knowing your army well provides that information on strengths and weaknesses. It's tough to know your opponents army, but having knowledge of your own goes a long way towards securing victory.

@@WarGamingNewbHistorical Thx, Josh. Knowing your weakness preserves your army, knowing their strength will bring you glory. 😁👍

Thanks for such a thoughtful video. One difficulty with employing the mind games is wargamers' superior knowledge and calm compared to real world commanders. The feinting and the Alexandrian focus on strongest part of enemy line (very interesting that!) are often hard to pull off on the table because the opponent isn't suffering the limited information his real world counterpart would and also isn't suffering the same anxiety level, he doesn't jump at shadows so much. Rules, too often seem to want players to march forward and dice for it, can make, say, feinting and disengaging hard mechanically.
I'm looking forward to more in this series, thanks again.

@@galimatias4455 Thx. And you CAN pull it of. You need in reality a good reputation as gamer or must act very confident. Used it often with my 6th Ed. WFB Beastmen army. This games developed more in mind games as the opponent worried over the Ambush rule too much.
