    At 52:00 since the treatment has crossed Pf line..how can there be space for martensite to form...?

      the line has crossed the 1% pearlite transformation curve, so austenite has not transformed to pearlite fully..the remaining austenite will transform in to martensite on rapid cooling, hence pearlite n martensite will form.

    why coarse structure has higher toughness ?

      it has lower hardness not higher, same is mentioned in the lecture
