it would be especially interesting to have him on there cause he has such a different view of the game compared to americans, completely agree with you
@@echospace7347 he admitted it, though. And said he’s working on it. After a few episodes of season 2 I gotta say, huge props to everyone involved. Actually my favorite podcast and it has single handedly renewed my interest in smash
TPK, a french youtuber and commentator, said that those 2 tournaments by gluto made him rethink about the game, because (in france at least) whe were thinking that the optimal way to play is to use very long range weapons impossible to punnish, but now gluto arrives with wario who does not have such a weapon, and win by punishing unpunishable attacks
Was really looking forward to this episode. Tweek, it's your emotions that make so many of us love the way you play. It's incredible to watch when you're on point. I know it's a struggle to try and get that under control, but if you can figure out a way to harness it, I think you'll be unstoppable. Thanks for the great content guys!!
I find it both weird and funny that Light became like top 5/borderline top 5 material by losing to a Boswer Jr at a MSM. Without that loss, he would have never grinded at Summit 3 and broken through to the next level with Fox. 2022 is looking like the year of the Fox mains. Light has been on fire, and is probably top 5. Meanwhile, the 2nd best Fox, Paseriman got out of his post Quaratine slump and is looking better than he did in late 2019/early 2020. Paseriman has gotten wins on Tea, Zackray, and long time bracket demon Shuton just this year for great placements. Hope to see more from both Fox mains, as they are some of my favorite players
Best of luck on the health Tweek, stress is a killer and it can have effects on the body that can rock you. Llod being a homie and helping out is great too!
Tweek Gas Here: Since you have the highest skill ceiling in all of smash, we can just space jam my self confidence into your controller and you will be unstoppable. You got this champ. Be true to yourself you know what you’re doing and don’t worry about expectations. We just want the best for you. You’re favorite player, love everybody on tweets talks, good luck I’ll be cheering for you. P.S.- First game I ever played was smash bros. 64 when I was 5. Didn’t even know about competitive smash until the first 6 months of ultimate. Watching my first tournament featuring you and others made me a big fan of this community. 26 yr old engineer.
Thought they'd speak way more about Riddles... he was VERY close to destroying everyone at Pound in singles and won squad strike. And the Kazuya has so much room to improve
I’m surprised they didn’t talk about AC much because he’s my opinion the most underrated player in the world right now. He’s been one of the guys with a good hold on SoCal events and is usually behind the other top players like Larry, Chase, etc.
I just want you to know, that every single one of you are the most genuine people I know in terms of your options and takes. That’s all I’m gonna say and literally fuck anyone who will look to bark at me.
when tweek was talking about the mental side of things it made me think again how it's almost shocking to me that going to therapy is not just standard practice for most kinds of competitors, like, it should be obvious and it helps SO, SO MUCH. if you're a competitor, yes, of course you should work on how you deal with things in your field, but you don't have to work on it by yourself and having a professional helping you makes everything so much lighter and focused
I feel like not many people are talking about zomba. Hes young, new and highly consistent, only losing to other top players. And while a lot of people play ROB, i dont think many play him at the speed Zomba does. Hes doing much better than when spargo first came on the scene, if he can clutch out a few of his tougher matchups, he could go incredibly far.
not really if he get super hard outplayed in set he tends to get in his head and complain. saying i'm not happy and making excuses on twitter. he could be a top 5 player but he has a shit mentality. which makes him inconsistent.
A friendship like Leo and Gluto have is literally a life goal. I remember at Summit 4 Max tried to down play Gluto beating Leo in pools. But leo said nah i was trying and gluto was amazing. "It made him happy so I'm happy for him" ugh the feels.

Finally! No more tiny Leo mentions when Leo wins a major! Excellent job owning Leo as the GOAT! No more salty backhanded compliments like Leo winning but Byleth is broken. Way to give Leo his flowers. And Tweek finally admitted Leo the GOAT.
@@leoncruise you have to read between the lines. Every tweek talks after Leo wins a major they focus on everything but Leo. They always prop up Byleth as top tier when anyone with a brain knows it’s mid.

Tweek knew Marss would beat ESAM because Marss always beats ESAM in this game. ESAM has one set on Marss at Dreamhack Montreal 2019, and that was the 1st set of grands- ESAM lost set 2.
It's so cringe when Tweek says he got disappointed. Self-deprecation has never won someone a tournament. You ever heard Leo or Sparg0 ever genuinely self-depricate??? It's pointless; inefficient. Just improve; just play the game.
I think it just depends on the person. Light loves a good losers run. Tweek usually plays his best when he’s in winners but can struggle if he’s put in losers early-on. Marss is a very momentum and confidence based player and Wadi just vibes and hopes for the best Some players lose confidence if there’s too much pressure on them to perform. Best example is Mango. He always plays better when the odds are against him, but when he’s expected to win, when he’s the favourite, he can crumble. 13th and 9th at the last two melee majors despite being a favourite
I have this feeling that Leo is letting Gluto win cause Leo never went Aegis nor Corrin against Gluto whom he has shown to beat Gluto's Warrio pretty hard. He might be letting him win just because they are good friends. Either way, letting him win a major shows that Leo is a good friend to Gluto. How nice of him.
he's not, leo doesn't take corrin or aegis against gluto because it just doesn't work anymore, gluto started beating his corrin after the maza reta invitational and his wario beats every aegis there is, cosmos hasn't won against gluto with aegis in bracket (there's also a chag stream where they play frendlies and cosmos won like 1 set out of 10) and spargo takes cloud against him even though his aegis is the best in the world. Plus leo wouldn't let gluto win because he is still a competitor, and if gluto didn't earn his victory it wouldn't be satisfying for him
sometimes leo genuinely looks relieved when people beat him, not sure what thats about. but i definitely don't think he would ever throw in bracket. it wouldn't be possible against gluto in the first place, he knows leo extremely well and would definitely be able to tell if leo wasn't going 100%
@@julesm5892 I don’t think Corrin wasn’t attempted b/c it “doesn’t work anymore” prob more so is that he wants to go Byleth mainly and believes that he can win w/ him most of the time even if he ends up not taking the set(s) that tourney. U are right about Leo not letting Gluto win he didn’t Gluto deserved the dub.
