The best boat in it's size ever!

What a gorgeous boat....how quick / easy to erect is the wet-weather gear? That's a huge issue in the UK and might be a deal breaker if youv'e got to fanny around with nail breaking fixings.....

This, with inboard engines and a large bathing platform (like on the Cranchi Endurance 30) would be ideal.
Shame you didn't show the toilet in this video. Does it have a shower?

Downside with an inboard engine is it takes up a lot of space in the boat. The Cranchi Endurance 30 is almost 1m/3ft longer than the flipper with no more interior space and much less storage. It's also much slower since you can only fit a single 350hp in the hull. 35knots compared to 50 for the flipper... The outboards also have the advantage of being able to tilt all the way out of the water and are much easier and cheaper to service. The flipper is also cheaper with 2x300hp than the Cranchi is with 1x350hp.

@@BilldalSWE Certainly wrong on the price, the Cranchi seems to go for low six figures, while I can't find the Flipper for under €200k. A Scandinavian boat just must not be much more expensive than an Italian one at the same size. Nobody would pay more for a Volvo than for a Maserati, regardless how practical and well-made the Volvo is.
I am aware of all the advantages of outboard engines you name, but none of that trumps the clean look, elegance, and noise levels of having an inboard neatly tucked away. Particularly at 9-10 meters, having no outboard engine also gives you so much more usable space aft of the dining area. The Flipper effectively ends behind the seating; you can easily put additional people, sun-pads, gear etc. on that huge swimming platform of the Cranchi.
