Coming back to this speech just trying to find some kind of comfort. When I first saw it, I couldn’t even imagine the pain Blacc Sam was feeling. Now 4 years later, I feel his pain having lost my brother, my twin, my bestfriend. It’s a pain I can’t even put into words. It’s coming up on a year since he passed and it still feels like yesterday. I replay the moment I got that horrible phone call constantly. Some days I don’t know if I’m coming or going but everyday I give my best even if my best isn’t much that day.
My sincerest condolences 🙏 🙏🙏🙏. I lost my mom when I was 11 months, my sister in 1996, to gun violence, niece to a seizure in 2016, and my oldest sister to cancer in 2021. My heart still hurts to this day. Keep living, carry your brother memories each day, and honor him always.
