My mom passed away 11 years ago this coming July 26th. Her and my dad were soulmates at the time she passed away they had been married 53 years. This past February 15th was their 64th wedding Anniversary. My dad has been ready to go since July 12th, 2011 one day after my mom passed.

Beautiful video! Beautiful speech! I lost my husband 2 yrs after my daughter was born. We found out that he had a inoperable brain tumor a week after I found out I was pregnant. After 911 happened, I read a poem that more people should have died than what did. The reason more did not, was because they had angels making them late to work, or sick, or some other distraction. My husband was one of those angels. My father as well. I lost him 8 months prior to my husband passing. It's the only thing that gets me thru. My daughter now is an adult. I pray to my father and husband to watch over her and protect her when she is out with friends. I don't go a day without thinking about him. And I know someday I will be with him again. Very moving. I heard the baby passed away too. I think this man was okay and probably is today. He had a love of a lifetime that some people only wish they could have . How many people on earth would give away everything to have this type of love in their lives? I'm 66 now, and I've never been able to reconcile what I know about, and who I know as Jesus, that in order to receive christ you must be willing to give away everything. I grew up, literally, in church, in my mother's womb, then through the nursery and the sun beams ... for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son ... John 316. We said it every Sunday for as long as I can remember. We also sang Jesus loves the little children ... in my child's mind, I loved Jesus and thought he loved us all, but if the parents had to give away all their money, how would they feed the children Jesus loves? This husband and his wife knew exactly how to live that scripture. What an incredible legacy she left with them all.
How did I end up here? So sorry for your loss. I almost died with twins on my birthday many years ago. I was ready to go with them. At such a young age I didn’t understand the love of a child until then. I had emergency surgery and asked to please save my baby. Not knowing what an ectopic pregnancy meant at 23. I was told afterwards I could never have children again. Life isn’t fair is it. I often wondered why I was chosen to be baron? AND Why did this lady have to die -in this day and age -at childbirth? ~God had a plan.
This is exactly what I needed to hear. I just lost my husband of 14 years on September 25, 2021. He was the love of my life. My best friend, husband and father to our two sons. Hearing his testimony resonated with me on every level. It hurts to breathe most days but I know he is in a far better place and he is at peace. We looked forward to a lifetime together. Unfortunately it was cut short but God needed him more. If I had only known the last time we saw each other would be the last time, I would have held him as long as I could. I feel like the other half of me is gone but I see him in our sons. We will see you again, my love. Save my spot. I love you always.

Sooo true! I'm blessed to have had love like this. It was so intense and beautiful. My fiancé, my partner in life, James, showed me love like this. He passed away a few months ago. I'm just now catching my breath from it. But I know he is well on that side. It is me that needs to live my purpose so that I may one day, see James again in the fields of gold. I miss him so much. He was so amazing and loved with all his soul. He taught me so much. Its hard to be here without him sometimes. But I also know that God is not done with me, yet. I just read that the baby passed away 18 days after he was born. I admire this man's strength! I lost my daughter 45 minutes after birth. That was 6 years ago. Sometimes, I feel like I had just lost her all over again. I cannot imagine losing a child and a spouse, especially so close together. This man, his strength, his faith is a true inspiration!
He loved his wife, he was patient with her, and he respected her, he gave honor to her. He not only honored her, but God. That was one loved & lucky wife, but he was even luckier to have had her. RIP I hope your family is blessed all the days of your lives.

I know how he feels to lose someone so loving like her. I lost my fiancee who passes away in my arms on the 9th May 2021. I got to know her value more after she passed away. I really miss her so much, I never knew I could be lonely again (I will have to start searching for another good lady in my 30s). She was so kind, caring, and loving. For years we knew each other, we never had a fight or quarrel. She never upset nor insult me once. When I play some songs on my phone every night, I weep, hoping I could see her one more time. So, I know what you are going through right now. Till this moment, I still miss her.

I batcha the thumbs down is because the individual had difficulty dealing with the sadness of the event the occurred, which opened the door for this video. I have had videos that I've wanted to thumbs down due to the sadness that prompted the video to be made, but I knew better MANY WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND AND SEE IT THAT WAY.
Maybe it was thumbs down in the fact that he lost his wife. Some people may not always understand that it means they didn't like the speech vs not liking the situation. Or they use it to try and fine tune RUclips algorithm.

This is so sad. This man and woman were lucky to have loved so deeply in the short time they had. They clearly loved more than many people love in an entire lifetime. It is an especially tragic disgrace that a woman in America, in these days, would die from complications of childbirth. Seems to me that science should be well past that by now... She always dreamed of how her sons would grow up to be strong and handsome men. It breaks my heart to know we can't share those moments with her. We chase after so many material things in life wen we die we look back on our loved ones and the time we spent with them. The only thing that really matters in this world is the love that we share. Life is a gift, it’s a possibility to feel love and love others. My wife drives me nuts sometimes and I’m sure I do the same to her but I’d be devastated if I’d loose her, I wouldn’t be able to stand up there and speak as this brave man has done. Unfortunately, some people never get to know love. It isn't out of cruelty that they give a thumbs down... it's out of envy and the pain of never being accepted by someone else in such a pure way. I am so sorry for this gentleman. Becoming a widow so young traumatically is absolutely devastating. He lost his beloved wife, best friend, and mother of his children. He also lost all their future dreams and plans. I hope with his children by his side he can find a small light of hope. When you know Jesus this is your response, peace that surpasses understanding. My husband passed away in 2007; he was in a lot of pain and I was so relieved when he went to be with Jesus because he made him whole. My husband is terminally ill, and I have held his hand when he was in a coma. I cherish every moment we have together. My Dad, my hero, passed away in March. He never liked any boy I dated. My mom passed away 11 years ago this coming July 26th. Her and my dad were soulmates at the time she passed away they had been married 53 years. This past February 15th was their 64th wedding Anniversary. My dad has been ready to go since July 12th, 2011 one day after my mom passed.

Beautiful video! Beautiful speech! I lost my husband 2 yrs after my daughter was born. We found out that he had a inoperable brain tumor a week after I found out I was pregnant.
After 911 happened, I read a poem that more people should have died than what did. The reason more did not, was because they had angels making them late to work, or sick, or some other distraction. My husband was one of those angels. My father as well. I lost him 8 months prior to my husband passing. It's the only thing that gets me thru. My daughter now is an adult. I pray to my father and husband to watch over her and protect her when she is out with friends. I don't go a day without thinking about him. And I know someday I will be with him again. How many people on earth would give away everything to have this type of love in their lives? I'm 66 now, and I've never been able to reconcile what I know about, and who I know as Jesus, that in order to receive christ you must be willing to give away everything. I grew up, literally, in church, in my mother's womb, then through the nursery and the sun beams ... for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son ... John 316. We said it every Sunday for as long as I can remember. We also sang Jesus loves the little children ... in my child's mind, I loved Jesus and thought he loved us all, but if the parents had to give away all their money, how would they feed the children Jesus loves? This husband and his wife knew exactly how to live that scripture. What an incredible legacy she left with them all.
How did I end up here? So sorry for your loss. I almost died with twins on my birthday many years ago. I was ready to go with them. At such a young age I didn’t understand the love of a child until then. I had emergency surgery and asked to please save my baby. Not knowing what an ectopic pregnancy meant at 23. I was told afterwards I could never have children again. Life isn’t fair is it. I often wondered why I was chosen to be baron? AND Why did this lady have to die -in this day and age -at childbirth?

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I just lost my husband of 14 years on September 25, 2021. He was the love of my life. My best friend, husband and father to our two sons. Hearing his testimony resonated with me on every level. It hurts to breathe most days but I know he is in a far better place and he is at peace. We looked forward to a lifetime together. Unfortunately it was cut short but God needed him more. If I had only known the last time we saw each other would be the last time, I would have held him as long as I could. I feel like the other half of me is gone but I see him in our sons. We will see you again, my love. Save my spot. I love you always.

Sooo true! I'm blessed to have had love like this. It was so intense and beautiful. My fiancé, my partner in life, James, showed me love like this. He passed away a few months ago. I know how he feels to lose someone so loving like her. I lost my fiancee who passes away in my arms on the 9th May 2021. I got to know her value more after she passed away. I really miss her so much, I never knew I could be lonely again (I will have to start searching for another good lady in my 30s). She was so kind, caring, and loving. For years we knew each other, we never had a fight or quarrel. She never upset nor insult me once. When I play some songs on my phone every night, I weep, hoping I could see her one more time. So, I know what you are going through right now. Till this moment, I still miss her.

Matthew means “ gift of God” and it is so fitting that he is named that. I lost my brother this year and miss him tremendously but I rest in the knowledge that he’s in heaven and no longer suffering the horrible ravages of pancreatic cancer anymore. This would never Be My Husband unfortunately. 😭For He is an Unfaithful man, and I just found out after 43 years that he was unfaithful a second time during a time I thought everything was great. I guess I had to write about it because this came into my feed for some Godly reason?
God allows that as an "out" for marriage. Pray for your spouse. Part of the reason this man's love was so great for His wife is because she pursued Christ. If you have it in you to forgive him again, do so with the help of God.. you will need the Lord either way. I can't imagine what you are going through. I would love to be here for you during this time. I'm sure it feels lonely.

I'd do anything to have a man feel this way about me. My 18 year relationship ended and I feel it's over for me. I have health issues and no man wants to be with me in a relationship. His speech was perfect and his wife thinks so too he's right she's smiling smiling at him saying it to her. She can feel it from his heart. I felt it. The tears are falling. I didn't know there was still any men so pure and beautiful hearted like him. I'm so very sorry of his wife and sons passing. I hope with his children by his side he can find a small light of hope.
He seems like a wonderful person and I pray that light of hope only gets bigger with time.
That’s true very devastating and heartbreaking. However, this was a big part of his message…that Jesus is his strength!! He gives those who believe in Him the peace and strength to keep going. It is a peace that the world cannot give❤️🙏🏾

When you know Jesus this is your response, peace that surpasses understanding. My husband passed away in 2007; he was in a lot of pain and I was so relieved when he went to be with Jesus because he made him whole. He’s right hug your husband or your spouse every day and tell them how much you love them until it’s exhausting. I remarried and my husband is amazing how he loves me. Thank you for sharing. I definitely could not live my life without Jesus, because He says “apart from me you can do nothing”. God is good…

My husband is terminally ill, and I have held his hand when he was in a coma. I cherish every moment we have together. My Dad, my hero, passed away in March. He never liked any boy I dated. But he loved my husband. I'm sending hugs and prayers and thanks for sharing this private moment. We do need to say "I love you" as much as we can. 🙏❤️
