The vegetation in this part of WI is pretty lush, but it's not always just weeds. It can be yellow parsnip! The fish are always worth dodging the parsnip for Tom! 😁Thanks!
At 4:09 you pick up saying something about you could sit there for an hour. You saying that a pool like that could be fished for an extended period of time before moving on? I've never been trout fishing but am about to start. Appreciate all the great content you trouters share.
@@scottpfeifer7782 yep, exactly! You could set up a lawn chair and cast all day if you wanted to. Put on a nymph and fish it below the surface all day lol I personally like to move and fish at a good pace. Usually I cast a couple of good times and move on. I find that a hungry trout will show themselves pretty quickly. Thanks for watching Scott!
Darn! You fixed your video title before I could rag on you about it! 😂 I’m convinced a little color to the water is a tenkara angler’s best friend. That last fish was a brute. Makes me pine for warmer weather. Nice work!
@@tenkaraintheiowadriftless haha! I bet you and Dave would have been relentless! The stain definitely made my stealth 🥷 easier. Warmer weather is just around the corner! 😬
I miss summer fishing too! What amazing streamside vegetation you have in WI. (And as always, nice fish 😉).

A long, long time ago, I also worked at REI. Managed the Climbing and Bike shops over 30 years ago in Baileys Crossroads, VA. Great video
@@blueridgeflyguy9551 haha! The first of hopefully many Star Wars references! Well done Mike and thanks!
