I've read all the books and seen all the movies, "He's a beaver, he shouldn't be saying anything!" Still lives in my head rent free as well " FOR NARNIA!!" I've definitely enjoyed this island tour!!
This is easily the best Narnia inspired island I've ever seen. 😍 It's the most aesthetically cohesive and feels the most like the actual story- plus the layout is just so well done!! Love it.
Katie, thank you SO much for visiting Narnia, and for doing it such amazing justice in your tour and dialogue. I loved watching this so, so much. You're amazing. 🤍🤍🤍
Wow wow wow this is SO super impressive. Big fan of the book series. If you haven’t read them as an adult (in order) please do, they will change your perspective on life ☺️
Yayyyy a new video ! Katie, I just want you to know i watch your tour Playlist over and over, while I'm cleaning, playing a game, even put it on to sleep. Lol thank you for all that you do. 💛
My mom is obsessed with this movie. She made us watch it like a thousand times when we were kids. I bet she would have made this island herself if she played animal crossing 😂
So glad you are back making tour videos😊! I have watched every single one over the past few years. Your tour videos with the nice relaxing music (please never change the music 😅) got me through a really rough time in my life when I was drowning with anxiety. At first I thought it might be boring watching someone tour an island because the few that I watched before I found your videos felt very rushed and not as detailed. Much to my suprise I really loved the first one I watched with all the sunfish. Made me laugh when I didn't feel like I could climb out of my anxiety hole. I was immediately hooked and watched a couple every night to help get me to sleep. Happy to note that my anxiety is at a very low level now! I should have posted this a long while back.. So thank you for making these tours for us to watch! I hope with any upcoming Animal Crossing games that you will continue making these wonderful videos! Btw, glad to see that your pupper is doing well ❤
Aw, I'm so glad my videos could help you through a tough time! I hope they can continue to bring you peace. 😊 And THANK YOU for telling me not to change the music - hahahaha - honestly, I do from time to time if the theme is super specific but I like the same track too
I am thinking of doing that, maybe block off one of the rooms of a particular one of my maximum 8 houses, that maybe could spare a room, for "the caverns down below". No doubt I could find some furniture to make it appear like that hallway is no longer there. If I can just get that Cave wallpaper. How do I get it BTW? I might put a warp pipe at the bottom of one of my "stairways down to nowhere", one of the ways I try to make my small island feel a bit bigger.
@@Vanilla.and.co.adventures Well a good Narnia adventure does rather require the magical trip through the Antique Wardrobe closet, does it not? What a cool excuse to have a wardrobe closet sitting in the middle of the forest. And especially since ACNH neglected to give us a _Star Trek_ transporter. Sometimes I get an idea of something small to build on my island, and it starts out with a "feasibility study". I go look at the site, to see if what I want to build, will even fit there. The Pipe is a commonly used trick on people's designer islands. I recall one in which you could travel, "to the moon", an otherwise inaccessible portion of the island. And then there are those subway and train journeys. Thanks everybody for all the creative builds, that no way will even fit upon my little crowded island. I suppose that the huge castle complex, and the humongous amusement park, and around 20 various faux buildings, well that kinda filled things up.
That's so great! I always loved the "Narnia" by Tania at Heathhorizons, and almost didn't make Narnia because I loved her work so much. But I could just envision it after the update, and decided to give it a try! I used all her outfit codes she amazingly created.
Oh wow, I've just started building my animal crossing island and I can't wait to decorate it!! Watching this makes me anticipate the future even more 🥰🥰🥰 I really need to work my ass off for 100 more hours and maybe I'll finally get to spruce up my island!
I was never a huge fan of the series, I liked it but never got super into it. I gotta say though, this is one of the best themed islands I've ever seen! The flow, the distinct areas, the indoor design, just stunning. I've never seen someone create separate worlds on one island in a way that feels as natural as this. It's usually a little awkward or disjointed due to the limited space, but this island does it perfectly.
This is actually insane. So perfect! I’m obsessed with how they did everything. Especially the wardrobe Mario pipe transportation! Literally went 😮 (And Lucy’s pouch is the healing juice potion stuff! But I do believe she also has a slingshot lol)
Absolutely phenomenal island! I’ve read all the books both in the order they were published and in the story’s chronological order. The Magician’s Nephew is probably my favorite. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is also really fun. I definitely encourage you to read them all!
In the pouch Lucy got a magic potion that can heal any wound and a small dagger just in case of danger. This island was beautifully done, it’s so clear what everything is if you know the story and it’s just so pretty!!! And the little details were accurate, they even got the way the army was organised right. And the beavers’ house 😭
I read them all as a kid but every year or two I remember the ending of the series and spend an evening ranting and raving about it. I'm STILL creeped out and angry 20 years after reading them.
The Chronicles of Narnia were the first books I read in English (I'm French Canadian). Because those were meant as teenager/young adult books, they were perfect for me to learn well. I have very fond memories of this series. Criminally underrated! The movies don't do justice to the books, even if they're actually quite good. The first and last books have so much inception and lore... Highly recommend to read them in chronological order, not release order.
This is so great that I showed it to my partner and he agreed that it was very well done. As fantastic as it is, I was still frustrated that I couldn't reach Blaire's house to look inside, because she was home.
This is so kind, thank you! For this kind of dedication, I'll tell you a secret. From Cair Paravel, you can climb down the vines into the flower field. If you climb up behind Cair Paravel, you will find a ladder. You can use this ladder to access Blaire's house.
Cool. When I build my childhood memory homes in HHP, I chose Winter for my more northern places, because they seem too much like the "being trapped in perpetual winter" of Narnia. The evil control of the witch trapping the land of Narnia in perpetual winter. In Canada they have maybe 2 months of summer and 9 months of winter, how is that a reasonable mix of seasons? Well I am not from that far north, but you get the idea. After we had moved farther south, then I did Fall builds for those, well since it was actually Fall or Autumn. For my childhood memory homes, I put them all on the same flat plot of land, free from irrelevant distractions of rivers and cliffs that would not match my recollection of how it was. I used that square gazebo thing, to represent stuff like a detached garage or neighbor's house, and pathing to recreate the driveway and the street, whatever all I could fit onto the land plot. I could use nothing like the Spaceship Control Panel nor a 50-inch TV fastened to the wall, because we did not have such stuff back then. More like Retro TV and TV with VCR. I am a bit disappointed with HPP not continuing to sync up with the real world, time-wise and season-wise, and so for my villager homes rather than childhood memory homes, I choose the same time-of-day and season, as when it was in the real world at the start of the build, well except for those few and last islands, that on the map, look like winter. Thus, I have no Spring nor Summer builds as I finally purchased HHP in the Fall of 2024.
Who's the fourth chair for in the end? I know there are 3 kids. Also, what happened to their uncle? I saw the movie but that was years ago and i don't think i ever got anything explaining why their uncle was a no show or why there was a magical wardrobe in his home.
There are four children. 😊 Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. The author implies that the Uncle is Digory from, "The Magician's Nephew". He was given a magic apple by Aslan, the seed of which I believe grew the wood for the wardrobe. 😊
I think people often forget the true purpose behind the Narnia series, to offer a way to tell children about Christ. Spoilers ahead, but worth it! Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe tells the story of Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection through Aslan, Magician’s Nephew is the creation story, Voyage of the Dawn Treader discusses sin and forgiveness as Eustace does something wrong (sins) and is turned into a dragon and Aslan claws away the layers to bring him back, symbolizing his forgiveness. Knowing these things as you read through the stories make them so much more powerful and meaningful.
I'm so sorry this made you sad. "He's wild, you know. Not like a tame lion," is why I ended up deciding not to use a villager, and instead used the simple panel lion in the hope that it would convey a more wild lion. 😊 But I completely understand your perspective. It was a tricky aspect of the island.
Is Elvis the only lion? I pretty much take whatever villagers I can get. Villager hunting/selection seems just way too much work. I am quite sure that you spelled "Asian" wrong. That was not quite the name of the lion, who even my nephews knew represents Jesus, in the story. Anybody who loved the story of _The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe_ or tales of Narnia or whatever, C.S. Lewis's writings, may also like _Pilgrim's Progress._
@yosefmacgruber1920 No, I definitely meant to say Aslan. No, Elvis isn't the only lion, but he's the only one with the king aesthetic and style about him.
@@TheCrystallineLeoness The name of the lion is Asland. So what does "Asian" have to do with anything? Elvis is ugly. What for would I want a lion roaming loose on my island? But I did like the trip through the Antique Wardrobe closet. And I like that somebody at least attempted the theme.
That's a fair question. I actually had a look at all the lion villagers and considered them seriously. But in the end, I didn't feel they commanded the respect and grandeur that Aslan embodies, so I ended up deciding to represent him in a "distant" form in the simple panels. 😊 It was probably the trickiest thing to figure out and had me stunted for a while.

Wow wow wow this is SO super impressive. Big fan of the book series. If you haven’t read them as an adult (in order) please do, they will change your perspective on life ☺️
right from the start i lost it, you had me at narnia!!
Lucy received a cordial in a tiny pouch that had juice from a special flower and it could heal with just one drop- thus the pouch.
This theme is so so well done! So incredible
Thank you so much, lovely!
Great video. You notice so many little details. By the way, Jayde created the custom design for that winter path herself! 😊

The room with the wardrobe almost made me cry 😅 so nostalgic. Such a simple design but it’s so impactful, makes me wanna reread this entire series

The frist book is the magicians nephew and it's about Peter, Lucy , Edwin's parents as children
It's not about their parents. It's about the professor (Digory Kirke) when he was young.
@postitsandpens thanks I haven't read the books in a while Idk why I always thought Digory and Polly where their parents. I have to reread them

do we even play the same game?
