Why does this video does not have more views?!! You should re-upload it. Far more informative than the latest interview regarding the topic of HRT with JoAnne Manson.

I think many of us found this one after the other recent one with Manson.

This is so clarifying and full of insight. Watching this in 2022 -- can't believe there are only 4000 views. I thought I knew the inside story on the WHI study but I had barely scratched the surface. Hats off to the researchers. And thanks for this work.

After learning about the Wiley Protocol from Dave Asprey’s book Super Human , I feel
like a new person . I am a very health conscious woman and menopause just about ruined my life . The bio identical hormones saved my life and my marriage . Thank you for discussing this controversial topics that conventional physicians do not understand. Dr Attia, you never cease to amaze me !!

I discovered this recently, as well, after reading Dr Bluming and Tavris’ book. Shocking to me, too! But I just jumped on HRT. I’m 60 and feeling SO much better!

I love these three people with their beautiful minds 😊! Thank you so much for your work! Because of people like you I am now on bodyidentical HRT (transdermal estrogen gel + micronized progesterone) and it changed my life for the better SO MUCH! ❤

Thank you for posting this video. There’s so much misinformation out there. I remember having a debate about the flawed WHI Study etc with my nursing professor. The “estrogen is bad” messaging coupled with is very concerning.

This was fascinating. I challenge many people for the same reasons highlighted here regarding biases or bad scientific practices. Medicine should not follow a pendulum, going back and forth based on what is popular at the time.

I wonder if there will ever be an acknowledged “medical reversal” done regarding re-instating the prescribing of HRT/MHT for adult women?

I found this super interesting and totally unsurprising from the perspective of a trans person who has taken essentially the same kind of hormone therapy prescribed for ciswomen after menopause. I really appreciate the work you put in here.

Your comment shows how insane our medical system is. A menopausal woman suffering from estrogen deficiency is titred hrt and the doctors won't give it to u unless you say some magic words and then, they will tell u to eat more soy instead. Maybe what women should do is tell their doctor they are trans and get the therapy they need.
No criticism of you. Anyone who wants hrt should get it.

Are you able to take Prometrium a.k.a. progesterone with your HRT protocol? I think it’s important. eg Hormones work in ratios. @Alice Stickel

@@emmaleechase613 Yes, I take Estradiol Valarate and Progestrone (bioidentical prometrium) and have had great effects, within the trans community the effectiveness of progesterone is debated anecdotally and effects vary with the individual. I also take Finasteride as a mild anti-androgen instead of the traditionally prescribed Spironolactone which has undesirable side effects.

Why are there any doctors who believe u dont need progesterone if hysterecromy or post menopause?

Nobody takes synthetic estrogen nowadays . Body identical estrogen or 17 beta estradiol is the real deal

August 2023 - Can anyone see this - if you were an older woman, say 80+ who has no uterus and has not been on HRT, could you start estrogen only gel (not orally due to blood clots) to get the protection for your bones etc? Given the risk of hip fractures in the elderly, why not?
