When u guys mentioned a lot of practice. One of the top guitar player who have played for her concerts many times recently revealed that, whenever she's in rehearsals. She would record her rehearsals every single time. So during the rehearsal if she wasnt sure about the note she's hitting or her dance move. When she goes back to her home she will watched it again and study what should she do differently in order to make it sound better. And the next day when she performed everything is on point. Shes a perfectionist and an extremely hard worker.

This is amazing information! Recording yourself is one of the best things you can do for your own growth! It can be hard to listen to yourself and be kind, at least it is for me 😅, but the greatest vocal breakthroughs I had were because I started listening to myself.
@@ChaseandMelia Omg I do the same thing. I used to be so bad at belting. But I started singing on this Karaoke app and really by listening to yourself you can improve. I think I improved a lot and I did get a lot of praise from people

In an interview Siti mentioned she was fascinated with the Japanese Enka style song when she was performing in Japan, When she came back to Malaysia she discussed with her team about it and here you go, this song was produced for her, Enka style inspired but in Malay. So difficult to sing tho.

Despite the fact that she was invited to the Grammys, they treated her the same way they treated BTS.Siti has been through this before, even before BTS. She was not invited to perform even if she had an English song until Siti made her 2008 full English album. What a really hurting feeling. I thought they did this to BTS because they are from Asia, but they also did it to her. I kind of feel disappointed at this point. Since 2007, she has been invited to the Grammys.Well, I was born late, so I know about her going to Grammy late. Then I know why Malaysia created their own Grammy, which is AIM and AJL, so that even in Malay they are recognised as having some quality, not just being famous.
Actually Siti prime isn't when she first started when she was 17, it was in her early 30s when her vocal was at its peak.

Telling stories, if you can tell a story with just your voice there isn't as much of a need to provide any other entertainment unless you want to. I have heard it is easier to sing if you smile. However, there is no smiling going on when I sing or whatever you call the 'fingernails on the chalkboard on steroids' that comes out when I open my mouth. I love her tone it's so warm and round. Thanks for your insights.
In my experience, smiling while singing, is a good "quick trick" to help your voice sound stronger. Keep practicing! 😊

yeah i think u right that only Siti can sing this song... i heard bfore how Aina Abdul sang this song, i think that was the best of the best cover for Kurniaan Dalam Samaran, but still everyone change it to ballad style even Aina herself. while Siti sang it using "enka" technic which is very2 hard for every artist to just do the way Siti sang.

Yup, you both so true. The second song in this video is the type of singing tone/note she extremely adored by her abundant fans and got paid for. The number one biggest known fact what make Siti Nurhaliza is Siti Nurhaliza today. That voice just aahhh! you cant help it but to fall for it again and all over again. An euphoria treats for the ears without a doubt. We, Malaysian call it "suara atas angin" which mean the kind of voice that are airy and floating. The real reason we as her fans cant move on. The first song is not really a typical Malay sound as it has more of a Japanese influence rhythm to it. At least that is what I gather from what she was singing. If you notice, her costume is very much like a Japanese kimono, and the way she moved on stage was geisha-like as well, demure and graceful. Her vocal acrobat is undeniable, that's what makes her a queen.

Your Siti Nurhaliza reaction videos make me look up and buy all Siti Nurhaliza songs on itunes. Back in the day, I used to listen her songs while travelling in my dad’s car because my late mom bought every single of her cassettes and CDs. Appreciate more of Siti’s songs (I’d say this for every of your reaction videos of Siti). I would love to keep her songs in digital form and listen to them again and again with new perspective.

The first song is influenced by 'enka' (japanese traditional music style). And it is considered one of her most hardest song to sing. In the 2nd song, I believe the instrument that you guys looking for is - erhu; which i think its also known as chinese violin. And it is specially included for this performance but not in her original studio version.

She is loved by millions of fans because of her personality, talent, and of course her never stopped smiling face on the stage while singing. She is definitely at another level of appreciation which is slightly above Celine Dion. And the worlds' should start to appreciate her, her singings skills, her natural instruments, her personality on the stage, her appearance in public, her influence for the fans are really awesome. She is just a full package SUPREME DIVA minus the 'attitude' .

this channel provides good references for future generations or even music classes to learn how to sing like Siti Nurhaliza.
First music is heavily influence by japanese traditional music..it was performed in japan for a singing competition. Its sounds way different than tradisional malay music.. the second one is heavily influence by chinese tradisional music

Yes, the first song influenced by Japanese traditional music, that is enka-syle. But this performance is not in Japan or competition but from her Satu Concert at Kuala Lumpur, the same concert that Chase n Melia reacted to her performance a couple weeks ago.

I think 1st song ..siti using her thick n dark, and powerful voice(suit with the song character, japanese classic vibes),
2nd song she change a bit with bright sweet vocal and still powerful voice (because its kind of happy, sweet love song with chinese vibes).
She is smart singer who can adapt her voice with the song environment..
She's setting her larynx placement like a bit lower in 1st song while 2nd song is her natural larynx placement

He was born with a singing talent. Early in her comeback, her talent was born without a vocal teacher.
I believe for the first performance she tried to
Infuse japanese classical into her music arrangement. And for the second there is element of chinese musical instrument in it. So i guess she showcasing different infuse music from other region into this performances.

This is just a perfect medley,two wonderful songs with such high level of control and dynamics,notice how subtle the way Dato Siti plays with rhytms and melodies in this performance,it requires a lot of control and understanding of not only your own voice production but also smart yet witty playfulness to be able to sing the songs as relax as possible,plus her sweet demure yet mistique aura made it more intriguing to watch and enjoy
