Acquired a Salix Pod last year and can't bring myself to use it. Just beautiful workmanship. After oiling and knocking it was a case of "This is going straight to the pool room".
Love us a Salix Marc, top review as always. That bat might have had some knocking in by Talent, giveaway is the double edge tape. Then again it would have been done on a machine so would have been obvious to you. I don’t think the bat is a year old as it has a toe guard on it, which is a more recent addition compared to the naked ones previously. They’ve changed the AJK profile now for 2021. It now has a lower middle like the Amp we reviewed but with a flat face vs the semi on the Amp. Look forward to seeing what you’ve got coming up on the channel next.
I own Salix AJK Graded (lowest grade) bat! And its a beauty...for the level of cricket I play its a top of the range and it will last a long long time. Extremely happy owner of Salix bat
@@CricketBatInfo so it should as their rrp on the website was more then retail stores. They should be at least competitively priced vs retail shops selling their own products when selling directly to the public.

Thanks for commenting. I had one for a short time and agree. Well made
For that price the bat is a ripper. Love the profile, doesnt have to break the gauge but still offers plenty of size at 2'9
Good looking bat and it does look awesome after you polished and prepared it... love the ping on it.
Great video Mark!
Great review mate 👍
Hi Mark,
Secondary drying please explain
Loved the review
Why is the bat a little tan/brown?
Owsum bat
What is secondary drawing mate?
What? Not sure what you are asking
@@CricketBatInfo 3:16 to 3:19 you mentioned that they doesn't do secondary drawing. That is what I am asking, what you meant by secondary drawing?
Drying, as in they're not further kiln dried etc
@@ajfo oh! Got it thank you. I thought he said drawing as in shaving, but drying makes sense. Thank you.
I guess 16 years old this bat looks like to me 👍😋
❣️❣️❣️❣️
Lovely bat, at £350 it's a winner... £600 is a bit rich though.
I don’t think players are that much, but the rrp on Salix is no longer on the website
