That last harmonic pitch/squeal was pure emotion that resembled a human vocal high note. Very few musicians are capable of creating such a unique and haunting sound. Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Chuck Schuldiner, and Dimebag were the only ones that I felt mastered that dynamic with their music.
Him and his brother were a legendary duo, he's beyond perfection on his own, but shit doesn't hit nearly as hard without the skull crushing heartbeat tones that Vinnie gave on every track along with him.

He used transistor amps and not tube amps. They are heavily boosted probably both with a boost pedal and an eq pedal. And of course he recorded many guitars and not just two.

Best metal guitarist ever. How does he get those tones like that? I haven't heard another band quite like this sound since Pantera.
Parametric EQ wizardry. Check Lambchopper678s videos on the subject. Edit, this one: ruclips.net/video/QgSAzeK6z_U/видео.html
I'm guessing he stacks the track on top of each other to create this harmony

Awesome tone, had so much natural talent, he is sadly missed 😔
Dime's solo perfectly represents resentment and hatred. I can't get enough of it.
I definitely don't perceive it that way. It sounds promiscuous to me. Like sorta how the music video conveys it.
