My Truck was scheduled to be built on October 2nd. It has been built and I just received the confirmation that it is on its' way. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with it, now that I love my Chevy Colorado.
@@brendandrives So I passed on the '23. I initially planned on buying it and selling to another dealer or private buyer. I offered my dealer and they really had no interest. (very possibly bluffing). Unless I took the risk of selling it privately, there was no real money to be made. Ended up just walking away and letting the dealer make the money. I believe it sold that same day with mark-up. The interesting thing is that I'm now getting emails about my '24 truck scheduled. I have no idea what's going on.
@@fwk32 Well that makes sense since you like your Colorado so much. I also have no idea what's going on with you getting a 2024 order confirmation though. I thought everyone who had an existing un-built 2023 order EITHER got a 23 or a 24, not both!
I waited a year before my truck went into production on Sept 23, 2023, it was built by October 2, and shipped by Oct 4. I'm assuming it's on a truck or train heading to Texas. It says an ETA of 10-17 to 10-30. I think it will be here much sooner. I was able to see the window sticker from the dealer and it's built to order. Although the price went up $480 when I was assured the price was locked in. Point being, I don't think it will be into next year (unless a UAW strike stops it), it's more likely to be delivered to you in mid December. Just my 2 cents. They've added a third shift at the Bronco/Maverick plant in Mexico. As far as the order goes. I was able to make a change (added at moon roof) just a month before going into production. Perhaps you can correct the changes they imposed upon you. There are some differences, like color options between 23 & 24. I'm looking forward to my delivery and hope that your order happens faster than you anticipate.
Thanks! Your truck was built quickly! I haven’t heard anything about the strikes affecting Maverick production but who knows. Looks like you made it through unscathed either way. You are probably taking delivery any day now right!?
I got an email March 16 giving build week of May `15, 2023 for my XLT with hybrid and luxury package. .Was built and shipped that week as scheduled. Was driving it less than 30 days after build date. You estimate may be too far out unless things have changed
I received my confirmation which included the same photo as you show. So that picture isn't necessarily the color of your truck. When I click on the tracking info for my order, it shows my ordered color of Atlas Blue.
I have been ordering a Maverick for over a year and now it is scheduled to start build Nov 20th. How will parts shortages and strikes affect the build. I could understand if it was an Italian exotic but an economy truck?
You are wrong on your estimate. Ford should have the truck built within a week when your truck goes into production. And if you are in Phoenix, AZ it should take 10-14 days for shipping. Therefore if there is no change to your production week, your truck should be in Phoenix by the end of Nov. 2023.
@@brendandrives Well, hopefully you will have your finance together by the time it ships and with some luck, you will get to be picking up/dropping off the turkey with the new truck.
@@brendandrives I assume if you get the truck before Thanksgiving, you will be hosting and everyone is invited? 😛 We will be revisiting and asking the question "Shipped?" on Friday of your production week...
Congrats on the scheduled email! I have a Terrain XLT being built week of Oct 30th. Everyone gets the same "you are scheduled" email with that white Maverick pictured, no matter what color Maverick you ordered. I'm eager to eventially see the first Terrain colored Maverick on the road.
Co grata to you too Steve! That’s good to know the emails are all generic. Yeah so far my wife hates the idea of a “brown” truck so we will have to see it in person 😅
@@benpayne677 hopefully less time than mine! My brother in law got one when they very first came out and it only took a couple months but those days are over
So happy for you Brendan and thanks for the update. I am really looking forward to your "closeout" review on your F150. I mentioned before I am trading in my 2013 F150 on a Maverick as well and it will be interesting to see your perspective on your 10+ year ownership experience vs my own.
Thanks! It’s fun to be on this same journey together. I just signed up for another ultramarathon so I can’t promise videos will be pumped out quickly but I’m working on them!
unless the strike messes you up, you will have this truck before christmas.
I hope so! Just made another update video that it’s shipping now!!
The terrain color looks like a nice coffee with cream.
Mmm yum, that’s what I’ll tell my wife! It’s not dirt color, it’s latte! ☕️
Took my order(22)/reorder(23) 18 months to get scheduled, then almost 3 more to get built, shipped, and purchased.
Jeff that’s madness, 21 months!? But I’d have waited the same…

Wow that’s incredibly fast. If mine came before Christmas I’d be stoked. Stay tuned because you’ll be the first to know here on RUclips!

Well the strikes thus far have only been at plants building Ranger and Bronco if I did my research correctly. So I’m hopeful we get them on time!
