    The RAW before MITB I was thinking about who was likely to win the case and looked at it from a narrative perspective; putting it on Priest made the most sense to me since the dynamic of how he'd eventually have to get the title from Seth or cash in on Finn set up a feud and implosion of the Judgement Day and an overall better story. Putting the case on L A Knight would likely have been a good short term decision, but there's not an immediate story to tell from there and pretty much makes Seth his defacto opponent as let's be real they aren't letting anyone cash in on Roman since that title is going to whoever they choose to carry the company next.
    I'm super happy we likely get to see Theory vs. Knight, especially if Knight continues on the line of attack that Cena started prior to his and Theory's match at Mania.

They were just so popular that it was ridiculous and both of them could have easily taken the top spot from Cena, and fans would have rejoiced in blissful happiness! LA Knight is in the right era for this. Hes 41 right, but, 41 now is like 35 in the attitude era. Bobby Lashley came back and has done it all, 2 US 2 IC and 2 WWE titles! And all after the age of 40, his first WWE title was won at 44!
    And LA Knights original run was so incredible, short but, man. Never shoulda put him in the Max Dupri thing. Fucking Vince McMahon that senile old man! Ugh! Thank god they see his value now. Clearly they had long term plans with Judgement Day and MITB before LA Knights push but, HHH even came out himself after MITB and said don't worry guys, his time is coming. And if LA Knight won the Royal Rumble? It would be one of the greatest moments in pro wrestling history! Buuut It will probably be Cody again, and then fans will cheer LA Knight the entire main event and boo Cody beating Roman lol.

    Now its just a matter of ensuring he does not be a momentary trend but rather an established brand..something like Rock Austin and in recent years with Cena..where they didnt need titles to stay relevant and recognized but rather their presence alone carried them through and we saw shades of that in last weeks Smackdown...he didnt even wrestle just showed up to talk for 2 minutes and he got the loudest fan reaction of the night.

      We’ll if that’s the case. He should’ve won the money in the bank and then cashed in on Roman Reigns while being involved in a highly fever pitch animosity in the bloodline. • @banshotenin1178

      But yeah would definitely be great to see Finn finally hold the Univeral title since he had to drop it after beating Seth back in 2016 due to injure, but beating Seth for the WHC works too I guess.
      LA Knight has shown his single talent and being majorly over with the fans so a mid card title makes the most sense to me especially given his experience and all the years he's been with WWE. 15 years since his WWE debut is a long enough wait, his time is now.

  • @SmoothSportsGaming
    @SmoothSportsGaming Год назад +4

    He's naturally talented, but when you act, talk, walk, wrestle, and have similar attire as Stone Cold and Rock it's easy to see why he's over.
    Enough time has passed, that it comes off new to young wrestling fans. SOME of the oldheads accept him because they're desperate for someone to remind them of their childhood.
    It took LA 20 years to get here. Earlier in his career no major company was eager to hire and push a Tribute act because Austin and Rock were still fresh in people's minds.
    I think he's a talented dude but his shtick is too *on the nose* for me. He doesn't need to though......Like is it really necessary to have your own People's Elbow? I would be 100% on board If he dialed it back with some of his catchphrases and other likenesses
    I also highly disagree about Knight carrying the Wyatt feud. He added a different element to it for sure, but just because you're doing a high energy, battle of wits style that gets a crowd hype it doesn't mean you're carrying a feud.
    *All the different emotions/acting he displayed and the unique scenarios he was involved with is because he was in WYATT'S WORLD* , since this feud he hasn't showed any of these different dimensions.
    Hes just been the hype man with the quick wit. No real dialogue or anything.
