I grew up a diehard cowboys fan but as a kid this Eagles team was one of my favorites to watch. Ben Smith, Seth Joyner, Eric Allen, Fred Barnett, Calvin Williams and that D-line. Monsters!!!!!

Buddy Ryan’s struggles against Joe Gibbs makes me believe that had the Eagles stuck with Ryan after 1990, Jimmy Johnson would’ve started to own Buddy. Unlike Gibbs and JJ, Buddy never understood the importance of having a stout offensive line, which cost the Eagles playoff wins.
Would like to see any of the preseason games uploaded to see how McMahon did w/ buddy as hc, I remember seeing the one @pit which was on cbs and I think it’s the last time ‘pots & pans’ was ever used
He did put together a pair of teams that reached the playoffs under Ray Rhodes. Once Rhodes unloaded Kotite’s players, the team was the worst in the league.
